Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. This has potential.
“This is a serious project, but it’s all there. Currently has a 235 Chevy straight six. Turns over with compression. Run a year or so ago. Truck has not been registered since 1974. Has black plates. No longer in the system and I can give you a bill of sale but that’s it. Took this truck in on a trade, and maybe I shouldn’t have, but I have ridden in it off road and it is a fun a old beast. Gas tank needs to be mounted and the brakes need work to be any use. 4 wheel drive works fine and she’ll climb anything you want. Will trade for motorcycle, project OK plus $$$ Maybe for a 4 door family car, but that’s about it, no 420, no electronics etc.”
