These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. This truck is a fun drive and a work horse. The original 4 cylinder motor has been replaced with a BuickV6 Dauntless. The V6 is a new complete rebuilt (no miles). The tires are about 70%(new balance). The electrical was changed over to 12 volts with a complete new wiring harness. The radiator has been upgraded to a high efficient electric fan cooled aluminum. “1948 Willys Pickup, Near perfect frame off restoration. L134 Flathead engine. Runs very strong. Four wheel drive fully functioning. I bought this truck roughly 10 years ago as a restoration project. It got out of hand and I went overboard. I used it for a sail chartering business that I have since sold. Not sure of the miles on the engine as the original gauges did not work. I have a lot of extra parts, leaf springs gaskets etc”
All of the 4-wheel drive is still there, but the front drive shaft has been removed. I suspect because there is late model rear end installed. 4 x 4 drive shaft is included.

This was a local one-owner truck at time of purchase at a local estate auction after owner passed away. The truck starts, runs, drives and can be used for about any purpose. Bought with intentions of taking to local shows & parades, but health problem prevents that.
