About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“1959 Jeep Willys Overland Pickup. All original drive 70k miles, Hurricane 6 engine, Warn Hubs, Dana Axles. Clear coat peeling and rust in lower door panels. To many projects need to sell.”
Interior looks good. Bed’s been shortened. Might be worth a look.
“I bought this truck with the idea it would be my winter project. I soon learned that my body lacks the flexibility necessary to take this on. Work that had been done before I bought it:
1) bed shortened by approximately 6″
2) new wiring and shocks
3) bench seat replaced with bucket seats
4) visors, headliner and door panels redone
5) new Stewart Warner gauges (oil pressure, water temperature, fuel, battery and speedometer)
6) new door glass
7) new rear window glass (not installed)
7) new gas tank
8) working heater
The tires are in good shape. The truck runs but I would not recommend driving it until all running gear was gone through.
There is obviously a lot of body work to be done but this truck has what it takes to be something very nice.”
“1947 Willys Jeep Truck for sale. Has a Ford small block, either a 289 or 302 (not running). Has extra transmission, 2 extra front axles, and 1 extra rear axles. Not going to lie it needs a lot of work. Frame is good and body is fair. Bought for a project but decided to go in a different direction. $2200 obo. Open to possible trades let me know what you have.”
“RESTORED WILLYS TRUCK: it has no rust; dings or dents. The restoration was professionally done. It runs and drives well. It is powered by the 6 cylinder flathead Hurricane engine w/3spd transmission.”
“1962 Willys Pickup, Nicest around! Built as a driver (and she’s fun to drive, getting thumbs up whever she goes), she also shows well. She looks stock, but underneath she’s anything but.
Chevy 350; 330 hp
FiTech fuel injection
Currie axles front and rear; 3.71 Ford 9 inch limited slip
4-wheel power disk brakes
Power steering
700r4 transmission
GMC transfer case”
“Classic 1958 Willys Jeep Pickup truck
Model 6-226 4WD GW-6000 25K miles
Original condition – one owner 1958-2016
Mechanically sound with current registration (Maine)”
“Experimental? 312 engine was informed by the long retired pilot Air Force. Found locally near Hyde field near Andrews AFB .. 312 virtually identical to 292 without checking numbers on crankshaft. Complete except carb. Parts or restore – pto, Dana 44s, tow bar. One off hand built cap. Still has some military type script on inside of cap, looks like they used recycled ductwork or equiptment steel. Ford mustang type seats. .. no parts this on really needs to be researched. Haven’t been able to locate a VIN. Confusion as to all that have studied it. No parts sell as whole unit. Bill of Sale. Great conversation piece, yard art or rare historical piece. Pretty solid except for some floor pan and rocker repair.“
