About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“1961 Jeep Willys Pickup.
Needs Restoration or good for parts. Glass is all there. Hood and Doors are good, frame solid
Engine fires rights up, shifts fine and drives, has no brakes
Body needs obvious work
4 Wheel drive works
Not many of these left out there. THIS IS A PROJECT VEHICLE. You’re not gonna throw a couple bucks and parts into and get it on the road.
No Titles back them, have a transferrable registration”
“For sale is a very classic 1952 Willys Overland (Jeep) pickup truck. This is the four wheel drive, one ton model. It is completely drivable and can be used as is or restored, etc. The truck has a four cylinder flathead engine (L head), T90 transmission and two speed transfer case.
A good deal of work has been done on the truck including the following:
Electrical system – the electrical system has been completely replaced with a new wiring harness; every piece of wire replaced (this was converted to 12 volts)
Ignition system – all new ignition parts including coil, distributor parts, plug wires and plugs
Gauges – solid state voltage reducer installed; new temp and oil sensors installed; all gauges would as they should
Parking Brake – all new parking cables front and back, new levers, new handle and some brackets, etc. Continue reading →

“The yellow pickup is an all original 1947 column shift 4 cyl. with clean title. The green white is a 1957 no motor or trans clean title. The black is a 50s and no title. The yellow one ran but had a cracked block but the tranny, clutch worked and 4 wheel drive. The black one runs and is a 6 cyl. manual on floor and all of it works. I am selling all of them for one money 4,200.00”
“green body, in need of great repair. Possibly will take offer within the asking price. Jeep needs to literally be rebuilt to some degree. I listed it rebuilt meaning the buyer would have to assume some of that responsibility. Thanks”
Leigh shared this one. It is a postcard of a Willys Truck with the CFA (Country Fire Authority – Victoria, Australia), one of a series of historic fire appliances with the CFA.
“1950 Willys Jeep Pickup Truck. Has xx,xxx miles on the body. Engine has been swapped to more reliable Ford 302. Currently runs, drives, and stops. Body was recently resanded and prepped for Black Epoxy Primer. Bed has been done in “Rhino Liner” type material. Lift Kit. New gas tank. Brand new mud/snow tires. 4wd works, just need the driveshaft hooked up. Locking hubs upgraded to Warn Premium Hubs. I did not do the engine swap. Bed is not original (rhino liner type), part of a kit. Great project for somebody. Email me for videos and more specific pictures. I have title. $3,500 obo, not looking for trades, low ballers, or tire kickers.”
(08/21/2015) Not a great paint job, but it appears solid otherwise.
“1958 Willys Jeep Truck – Clean title
The drive train has been maintained as a daily driver for the past 3 years. It is licensed and inspected.
This has NOT been re-powered. It is all original and easy to get parts for.”
