About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“1958 Willy’s truck. Tucson vehicle. No rust. All original equipment. PTO winch. Super Hurricane 6 cyl engine, 3speed trans. Orig transfer case for the 4WD. Almost new tires. Runs and drives well. FWD works well. Haven’t used the PTO winch in years, but believe it’s fine too! Rare specimen vehicle. Interior needs to be reupholstered? Hate to sell! Must see to appreciate. $17,500 , open to offers.”
“Antique Dump Hoist For Willy’s Jeep Utility Pick up, 1/2 ton, late 1950’s to early 1960’s, with 226 inline 6 engine.
Had this hoist installed on a 1953 Willy’s Utility Pickup, Belt driven, with mechanical clutch.
Now the hoist is installed on a custom utility trailer built with a 1960 Willy’s Utility Wagon Frame and is operated with an electric power unit.
Have engine driven pump, tank, and hoist.
Have original manufacturer parts, installation, and instruction books plus some original blueprints.
The cylinders had to be replaced due to damage from moisture. The new cylinders are of the same dimensions and the cylinder bases were reused to retain the same mounting to the hoist frame.
This hoist will only fit the old style Willy’s Utility Pick up.
Cash is desired. Can arrange for shipping, but cost of shipping is above the asking price, and payment is required in advance.”

“The truck is an early 1947-according to the VIN # this is the oldest surviving Willys 4×4 truck on the Willys forum. It is likely that there is an older survivor somewhere, but this is one of the first. The body is in exceptional shape for a vintage Willys truck. I’d ballpark estimate that 70-80% of these old Willys trucks have been so abused that they are frankly not worth restoring. This one is. When I acquired the truck a few years back, the PO had sanded and prepped the body for paint-then lost interest. so I sprayed it with two light coats of the original Michigan Yellow paint to protect it. there are a few small wrinkles and dings, and the bed floor has a few small holes, but there are no hidden surprises. The only bondo I saw was two (small) screw holes for a mirror on the passenger door and two teaspoon size repairs on the front fenders. The truck looks good in the pics, but needs a repairs including re-welding the hood supports before a final coat. Continue reading →
The seller has three trucks and one CJ-2A for sale.
“I have several Willys pickups for sale and a nice project CJ2A. Also a nice 68 International 3/4 ton pickup, a 73 IHC 4 x 4 with only 72,000 miles and a 98 Dodge pickup I’ve had for a couple years, nice pickup, be a great ranch truck, hunting truck, etc.
Thinning the herd! 51 Willys Pickup, Ford Flathead, nice project, needs restoration but solid and complete. $2250
48 Willys CJ2A, nice project, complete with cab, $2250 obo.
Several other Willys pickups & parts:
An early 50’s complete pickup, missing the tailgate, has the 4 cylinder F head, very cool dual spotlights, etc. It’s a project but a worthy one.
Early 50’s Willys project, cab and chassis, on rubber, no box or back fenders, engine is complete and should run, no radiator, missing a few other parts but a good project or parts pickup. $750
Early 50’s Pickup cab, probably the nicest one you’ve ever seen, solid floors, good doors, good glass, far easier and cheaper to replace your battered and banged up old cab with this one for $500 Continue reading →
