These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Gus is a 1965 Willys originally from the south west, which means NO RUST. A retired man with a history in restoring military Jeeps saved Gus from the cutting torch. A few misguided teenagers concocted a plan to cut Gus’ fenders and make him into a “rock crawler”. Our retired friend couldn’t let that happen, and decided restoring and upgrading Gus would be a great retirement project.

“1947 Willys wagon. Newer style front end. Running 350 chevy, 3 speed t90, twin stick dana 18 transfercase. This wagon needs a clutch installed. This is a project, but it is all there. Lots of extra parts. Extra glass, frame, axles, transmissions/transfercases, wheels, tires, fenders, hood, grill, seats, trim pieces, etc. Way too much to list all of the spare parts, basically another wagon worth of parts. I had big plans for this, but no time anymore. I have the title.”

“THIS IS A VERY RARE 1948 JEEP WILLY’S OVERLAND DELIVERY WAGON. IT IS A 4 CYL. WAS A 6 VOLT CONVERTED TO 12 SO IT CAN RUN OFF REGULAR CAR BATTERY. IT HAS ALL 4 HUB CAPS. HAS SOME BODY RUST ALL AROUND THE VEHICLE. PLEASE CALL ONLY IF YOU ARE SERIOUSLY INTERESTED. MOVING OUT OF STATE, MUST SELL.”
Seller would like an offer and/or trade for Willys truck. The wagon is disassembled.
“I have a 49 Willys Wagon I am wanting to get rid of. I was going to go street rod with it, but have decided to build a Willys Truck instead. This is an extremely clean Wagon. I have the history and it went through a restoration in the 70’s. The only body work I was planning on doing was replacing the floor pans in the front. They had been replaced but not correctly. There are no dents to repair and no rust on the body. The glass has been sourced for original glass and is not replacement. Some trim pieces have also been sourced. It has the flat head four engine, planar front suspension, three on the tree, and the factory OD which is cable activated.
I have the wagon almost completely disassembled now, but bagged and tagged everything that I took off and stored in a tote. I was getting it ready for media blasting. The only thing left on the body to come off is the drivers door, some of the dash and the steering column. This is almost a paint and reassemble resto or paint and build up street rod. I don’t have the greatest pics of it right now, but these are right before I disassembled and as I was disassembling. Make me an offer, but don’t low ball me. Remember, a am looking for a Willys truck and know what people are asking for Willys that are rusted buckets and have been sitting outside for 30 years.”

“I have too many toys so i must sell a couple…I have a 1961 Jeep Willys 2 door wagon converted to a sedan delivery. Has the rat rod style look to it, with a newer patina paint job, semi gloss clear, and hand pinstriped all over. Fronts been subframed with camaro, back has been subframed with half ton chevy truck. Older rebuilt camaro 350 and 350 turbo. Very dependable and road worthy. Has disk brakes up front and are power, power steering. Tilt column, New gauges. Interior has been done, high back buckets out of king cab truck with stitched pinstripe on back of headrests. Has won a trophy at every car show ive attended with it. But its time to give it a new home and let someone else have as much fun with it as ive had. It attracts attention everywhere it goes…be prepared to spend time with on lookers! No low ballers please, this thing is rare and awesome.”
