“1962 Willys Sedan Delivery 4×4. Rare body style, and in very good condition. Original rebuilt 225-6, 3 spd T90, with dana 18 TC. Also has Warn Overdrive installed. The body is as solid as you will find. This truck is from Southern California. The only body work done by previous owner is some fiberglass overlay on the front driver / passenger floors to seal pin holes.- no patch panels done or needed in my opinion. There is a small dent in the drivers rear QP, but its an easy fix, on the bottom edge of the panel. I suspect the body was a donor onto a regular wagon chassis because the gauge cluster is from a mid 50’s era Willys. Only a real Willys nut would know that, and actually the 50’s dash is more desirable. Engine runs perfect – no choke to start, and this truck drivers great. Here are some mild upgrades:

Update on Todd’s 1963 Traveler Wagon

Idaho Todd’s 1963 Traveler update (see the before photos at the bottom of the post). Todd wrote the following about arriving at the seller’s place to purchase the jeep:

1963-traveler-headed-home

The Traveler headed to Idaho from Oregon.

After some visiting, we struck a deal that I think we were all comfortable with. The fella helped us load the traveler and we were off. Boy, you would of thought we were hauling a shelby mustang by all the attention we were attracting! Plenty of on lookers at fill-ups and bathroom breaks.

Made it back to Sandpoint and the next morning we were going to back it off the trailer when I hit the key and she fired (after a jump start)! I had bought it as a non-runner so this was delightful! To my amazement, the speedometer, both gauges and most of the lights worked! I drained and filled the boxes, checked the brakes and we were off.

When I got back to the shop, I soaked it with a degreaser and power washed it. It turned out stunning! I sure like the patina but I think it’s headed for a full resto on of these next winters. It needs front foot pans and some investigating around the top. Other than that, I am very pleased. In the meantime, I think I will enjoy it for a while. She runs great. Thanks everyone for sharing this experience with us! More to follow soon…

Looks innocent on the outside, but has some power.

The front suspension is modern rack and pinion with disc brakes.
The rear is a Ford 8″ with drum brakes.
I have a finished 3rd row seat that I never installed.(included.)
This wagon is a lot of fun to drive!

1949 Wagon Greensville, PA **SOLD**

• CATEGORIES: Willys Wagons • TAGS: This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

UPDATE: **SOLD* Was $10,800.

Nice looking wagon spotted by Craig.

“1948 Willys Jeep Station Wagon in very good condition. Has been restored as a daily driver type with modern radial tires and aluminum wheels. Not a perfect show winning restoration but it looks really good. If you found a wagon in a barn somewhere you would have a lot more money than that getting one in this nice of condition. was $12800 and has been reduced to $10800. Price doesn’t include title, taxes or licensing fees. Bring cash and tell them Tim sent you. You can drive this home if you wish. Lots of other items for sale as owner has retired and is selling virtually everything.”

1952 Wagon Parkway San Antonio, TX $27,950

• CATEGORIES: Willys Wagons • TAGS: , This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

UPDATE: Price dropped to $27,950.

Looks ready for a show.

“An incrediblly done complete restoration! This 1952 Willys Jeep Wagon 4X4 has had every nut and bolt turned and needs absolutely nothing! Powered by a period correct 6-226 Super Hurricane mated to a 3spd manual transmission with Spicer transfer case, Dana differentials, and auxillary cooling fan, she is completely finished. Extremely high quality paint job and wood trim looks fantastic. Cosmetically, she is a real head turner. Top to bottom and underneath are all meticulously done. The wood flooring in the back is completely finished, and the only thing that isnt period correct is the aftermarket am/fm cd player iin the dash. All of the gauges are clear and appear new…….I really dont know what else you could do to make her more complete. Come by and see us at Jordan Motorcars, 11919 IH10 West, San Antonio, Texas, 78230 or visit us on the web at jordanmotorcars.net.”

Seth Found this Interesting Wagon

• CATEGORIES: Features, Unusual, Willys Wagons This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

Seth spotted this interesting wagon. If anyone can provide any insights into it, we’d find it helpful.

He writes, I found this very rough abandoned Wagon. What made it stand out was the independent front suspension and the barn doors. It looks stock but I have always been under the impression that the Wagoneer Panel Delivery was the first Jeep with IFS. It is obviously a basket case project but if it’s a prototype or something like that it may be worth the effort to restore.

Dan has posted the photos at the Old Willys Forum as well. He suggested it might be a factory special. He noted, Based on the gauges and rear rear wheels, it looks like a 1946-early 1950 Delivery that someone installed an aftermarket IFS (similar to the Mustang II) and cut out the back rear side windows. That said, it could be a factory special.
