This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1961 willys for sale. 4×4 new clutch and exhaust . Original super hurricane 6cyl engine.
Runs but needs new bearings in the engine. New floor pans and fairly straight body . Have a tbi Chevy 350 engine that could be installed at an extra cost at our shop.”

“I’ve come across hard times, and need to sell/trade my 1949 Willys Wagon.
It’s in very good shape for its age, and is 99% original, with a few upgrades.
I don’t really really want to throw a price out, but will say I could use a strong running full size truck or van, looks aren’t as important. Preferably a manual trans., and 4 wheel drive. Something that will tow a small household, and something ready to drive across country right now, with no major problems. I’m willing to trade outright, or throw in some cash.”

“1958 Willys Wagon project vehicle. Plenty of rust (floor boards, below tailgate, along drip edge of roof etc.). No engine. Title in hand. $600 firm or possible trades or part trades for the following item/s: I’m looking for an 8000-12,000 watt generator, approximately 3000′ of 3/4 or larger poly pipe or equivalent, a 500-1000 gallon propane tank, a snow plow to fit my 2001 Chev 2500, snowmobile or four wheeler.”

Runs and drives.
“1957 Willy’s wagon, 4X4, 4spd manual transmission, flat head 4 cylinder engine. Body is in great shape with no major rust issues, no holes missing parts or cheap replacement panels found. Frame is solid and straight. Interior has been completely redone about 5 years ago and looks great. New wiring harness throughout entire wagon. All glass replaced around the same time as interior. New wheel cylinders, brakes, and spring kits. Engine runs smooth with no noises. Transfer case and hubs work as they should. Trans has a bad synchro in 2nd gear, you can still drive just pops out of 2nd when you let off of the gas. Has stump pulling granny gear transfer case gearing. No noises or rattling from the rears. All around solid wagon for someone to completely restore or drive as is. Asking $6,000.00 for the Willy’s which is below collector market value for the current condition. You would be hard pressed to find a classic in as good of condition as this one for the same money! Must see in person, give me a call so we can arrange a time,”
