This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Lou spotted this classic image of a man and his wagon at the New Jersey State Archives Facebook page. The chair hanger / fishing pole holder on the passenger side is interesting. Lou writes, “That’s on the beach at Island Beach State Park with Barnegat Lighthouse in the background – since those 10 miles of beach are preserved it still looks about the same and you can buy a pass to drive on the beach and fish.”

“This is a nice running 1950 4×4 willy’s wagon, All original seats, I believe it has the orginal 4 cyl motor. I bought it in Colorado so it has very little rust. there are 2 spots above the real fender. Call me for more information.”

The price is a bit high given it doesn’t run, but it has potential.
