Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. I was surfing around the Old Willys Forum and spotted a link to a great little site in Canada devoted to BlueBell the Wagon. Make sure to take the animated BlueBell (upper left corner of the site) for a test drive. Lots of good info here.

I’d say that front bumper doesn’t look too original either. But price looks pretty good.

Pete and his kids have been doing some work on a wagon that they recently made road worthy. He shared a video with me that you can view below. It’s always great to see a wagon on the trail, but the best part of the video are the short, funny comments made by his son.

This appears very restorable.
“1950 Jeep Willys Panel. Very unusual panel truck, most of these Jeeps had side windows. This is a 2 WD with what we believe to be a Chrysler 383 with an automatic transmission. They never completed the engine installation and the engine is locked up. The body is very straight and rust free and would make a great project. We have a title for this vehicle and can arrange shipping anywhere. For questions call Rich 719-338-1053.”
