Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1963 Willy’s Wagon, CLEAN BODY< CLEAN FRAME. GM V8, manual trans 3 speed. 4×4, runs and drives well, new battery, newer tires and exhaust system. Clean truck no bondo that I can find, truck is complete chrome , glass etc. original chassis. Need it shipped? I can help with that too.”

Listed as a 1950, the later model grille, large speedo, and solid windshield suggest it is more like a 1960. Needs some work.
“Cool vehicle! Clear title. Good condition considering age. Needs TLC that we would love to give it but we have too many projects! Driven a few years back but carburetor needs some attention now. Not original engine – engine is a a V6 out of a 1989 Buick 231.”
Mike spotted this interesting rebuild of a 1959 wagon. It’s located in Eastern Poland. The work looks great. Note the pic of the frame area and how clean that looks.

Rebuilt Station Wagon 1959. Original frame, Go Devil engine, T90 gearbox, 4×4 reducer. Rear body made of new sheets. All spare parts new or refurbished. After the renovation, he traveled 4km / 2.5 miles/. I have photo documentation of the renovation.

“1964 Jeep Willys Wagon. Inline 4 cylinder. 3 speed on the tree. Overdrive kick in above 35 mph with lock out. Good tires. Starts easily. Runs and drives great. Clean interior. No radio. Wipers intermittently work. Blower appears to work and provide heat. Fuel gauge does not work. 5 digit odometer. Not perfect but is road worthy. Any questions just ask”
