UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $12,500.
The seller notes that 1955 was the first year Warn offered the five-ring warn hubs. Actually, they (both the locking and the automatic hubs) were offered as early as 1953, according to at least two different ads. One 1953 ad (note the Feb 1953 Motor Trend Magazine for example was a full blown brochure, while this 1953 ad below was included in the September 1953 Popular Science magazine:
All that said, and back to the original purpose of this post, the wagon looks nice, though it does have an updated engine.

“For sale or trade. I am gunsmith so primary interest is firearms but no harm in asking. This is a great Willys that can be driven just the way it is or you can pursue additional restoration. Everything works, 4×4, factory Warn hub locks (first year those were offered), overdrive, front and rear PTO with a winch on the front bumper. Dual fuels tanks. Older paint still looks good, just not shiny. Seats were all just rebuilt (foam and covering) in a canvas looking modern material. Less than 200 miles on a completely rebuilt and balanced Chevy L6 250 with MSD Distributor and Electronic Ignition. Starts and hums along very smoothly. Steering is vintage and next on my restore list if I keep it. Need $12500 in cash or trade value to consider parting with this fun rig.”
Lots of updates to this wagon.

Looks pretty unmolested 2WD wagon, though it does have an Allstate engine head.

“1951 Willys 2dr. station wagon. Would make a good restoration project, hot rod, or a great rat rod. It is mostly complete. Factory 6 cylinder, 3 speed overdrive transmission. This vehicle has been sitting for approximately 15 years here in Nevada. Glass is all there but, passenger side windshield is broken. Front floor pan is rusted through. Has a clean Nevada title. Asking $3500.00.”
Looks in good shape.

“This wagon has no rust! All windows are in perfect shape. All lights and switches work minus the fuel gauge and speedometer. It has a 327 SBC V8 engine that starts right up with zero smoke. It has a 4 barrel carb. Power brakes. Power steering. 350 automatic transmission. Front disk brakes. An updated rear end but unsure of make. This thing was done correctly by an older gentlemen and built as a cruiser. It has dual straight pipes. GM steering column. No headers or loud exhaust. It is a great driver just the way it is. New tires. It’s not perfect or I would be asking 15k for it.
Open to trades or trade plus cash. No lowballers. Come look at it and make me an offer.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $9475.
Isn’t that a later model body with the flat rear wheel well?

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $5400.
Seller has driven this wagon over Hwy 17. That’s a good roadworthy test. I’ve saw more accidents on that hwy in the three years I drove it than I have anywhere else.
I once saw a driver in a car right in front of me, going up hill, lose control, for seemingly no reason, and veer into the concrete median, then cross two lanes to hit the side embankment, then slam back into the median, before coming to rest in the slow lane. I remember locking eyes with the female driver. Her eyes were big, seemingly saying, “what the hell just happened”. I also had two narrow escapes on that highway where I could have been seriously injured.
“I built this car about a year ago with my uncle. It drives, I had a blast working on it and taking it to and from Santa Cruz, yes it made it over the hill. But I just moved and can’t house it at the moment. Please let me know if you are interested”
