UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $6900.
(05/22/2020) This has potential. I can’t tell how much rust the sides have.

(06/15/2017) “I have my 48 CJ-2A for sale. I absolutely love this vehicle but just am not using it enough to have it sitting around. It has been upgraded to a 12 volt system and has an upgraded brake booster. It has a new carburetor, starter, and alternator, but everything else is seems to be original. I have it tagged and is street legal for daily driving.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $4200.
Needs some work, but runs.
“1948 Willys Jeepster has all the chrome which has been redone just needs to be put together runs and new paint extra hood call for more information”
MY best guess is that this is a CJ-2A body atop a DJ-5 2WD chassis.

Given the rear PTO, this may have some value.

Maury spotted this Power-Lock Brochure on eBay. I bought one of these a couple months ago from the same seller (scans below):

UPDATE: This press photo was sold back in 2013. The image has been recently circulating on Facebook, but without the description (though as Mike pointed out to me, it is a brief description).
Marc forwarded this rare photo of a unique FC.
“This is an old Chicago Sun-Times staff photo of the very unique Thompson Jeep Leveloader Truck in Action. See the Scans. Measures 8″ x 10″.”
The company also built a leveloder out of a Chevrolet truck. This brochure is on Amazon. This brochure better shows on the truck can shift from being level with a loading dock to being level with a sidewalk.
Some more pics would be great.
