This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1946 CJ2A .New body. Rebuilt engine, transmission, transfer case and axles. The flat head 4 cylinder was removed and a 1965 cj5 v6 was rebuilt and installed. This vehicle runs and drives but has been garaged for the last 15 years and needs a carb cleaning. Other items that need attention, needs shocks, windshield wipers, heater and the lights need wired.”
This four-page brochure “Willys Jeep Feuerwehrfahrzeuge” comes from Switzerland. It’s got some vehicles modified for fire departments. These are some cool rigs. Page 3 shows a unique crew-cab FC-170 with a back cab separated from the front.

This year is the 14th Anniversary of this annual event. See World War II and Korean War era military Jeeps and the civilian Jeeps and utility vehicles that are the grandfathers of today’s Jeeps & SUVs.
Jeeps can be entered into one of three categories at the show: Best Military Jeep, Best CJ (Civilian Jeep) and Best Non-Jeep. The non-jeep category features Willys trucks and station wagons. Everyone in attendance will vote on each of the three categories to name the winners.”

“This is a rare find. 1942 Ford MB, runs great, has original shovel and axe, has gun holder on dash. Manual, motor is a Buick 231 V6. Engine swap done in early 70’s. New fuel tank, master and slave cylinders just replaced. Warn 8,000 lb winch and tow bar. This thing goes everywhere! Recently had it on the beach in Florence! So much fun to drive and a big hit at car shows! Was driven in the Veterans Day parade last year! In Bend, serious inquires only please.”
