About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“2 Willys Jeeps. One 1966 (Estimate no title) and One 1963 with Title. The red one is in poor condition but runs and drives. No brakes but parking brake does work. Plow does work but it’s manual angle. The front leaf springs are both broken. The white Jeep has an engine but is locked up. It has oil in the engine and I did put ATF in the cylinders but that’s as far as I got. It is also missing the radiator and heater core along with the starter and generator. I guess someone stole them for scrap before I bought it. I bought this one from an auction. I found the last PA registration in the glove box. Body is in great shape compared to the red one. I was going to build one good Jeep from the 2. Will not sell Jeeps separate. The title to the red one has to be changed before it leaves the property. $2500.00
I have had a lot of emails about selling the Jeep separate or selling Parts off of the Jeeps. The Jeeps will not be sold separately. There will be no parts sold off of either Jeep. They either go together or they will stay here and hang out.”
Mike shared this episode one of season one introduction to the Ramar of the Jungle TV program. It opens with an MB overheating. At one point one of the guys removes the radiator cap (I kept wincing, waiting for water to explode out of it). At another point, the same guy starts to “work” on the brakes by banging on something (didn’t sound like the brakes) with a wrench.
This unusual photo (which for the purposes of this ebay sale is a metal sign), take on January 6, 1955, documents the existence of what appears to be a Two-Wheel-Drive Dispatcher model based on the M-38A1, designed for the Air Force. I never knew one (or more?) of these models were created.
“1955 Willys Jeep New Metal Sign: US Airforce Dispatch Model from Press Photo. Suitable for framing or hanging, has pre drilled holes. A nice piece of 20th century history.
The sign measures 9″ x 12″
This sign is also available in 12″ x 16″ for $29.88. Please message if you are interested in the larger size.
This collection of Jeep images come from the former Jeep Museum in Toledo, Ohio. The former custodian of the museum, before it closed, saved these pictures from being thrown away. He has allowed me to scan them in high resolution and put them on metal.”
Here’s another Dispatcher photo, this time of a DJ-3A with tubes of some kind on top. This has the Koenig built hardtop, the Dispatcher logo sticker, and one-ring hubcaps.

“A few parts in original boxes. 2 Inlet Valves and 1 Exhaust. 1 Bell crank and 2 hoses and 3 lug nuts. Sold as is. Item is located and will be shipped from Canada. Canada Post is very expensive and there is nothing I can do about that. Shipping quote is for North America. Foreign is extra. Buyer pays $12 shipping to US and $14 in Canada. Combine on shipping where possible.”
“Up for auction is a 1954 Willys Jeep CJ-3B. This is a very solid runner.
It has the 4-cylinder Hurricane with the Go Devil L-head. It has a manual 3 speed transmission. The original drive line has been completely rebuilt. Lots of receipts on engine rebuild. Engine does not leak or smoke. It has a new clutch and the axles have been gone through too.
Body is very solid. It does have a few bings and bangs.
There are new tires and new seat frames with cushions and covers. Have the original rims if preferred.
“72 year old Jeep looks great and runs well. L134 go devil engine runs like a champ. Willys is titled and registered in the state of Arizona and requires a good home with a garage with someone who can provide TLC.”
(04/25/2019) Looks like the outside was painted, but not the interior.
