“FC150 for sale. No engine or transmission. Bought in December and came to the realization I’m just not going to have time to restore it. Removed the bed and started removing the cab (cut bolts to body mounts). Have tailgate, and some other miscellaneous parts for the bed but majority of the bed was rusted out. Have front windshield glass and some side glass for the cab. Purchased it end of last year and just don’t have time to finish it. No title”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $5000.
Looks like a good price.
Clear Texas Title.
226 Super Hurricane 6 cyl motor runs good. Electric fuel pump, Transmission shifts with no issues, transfer case shifts to 4 hi, 4 low, and back to 2wd, no issues. Engine and tranny, and tansfer case has some oil leaks. Rear brakes replaced, front brakes not. New tires at all 4 corners, radial but with “old days” tread. New Rugged Ridge locking hubs. It is a project in progress and will be a great project to finish. I am no longer retired and do not have the time to put into it. Been sitting in garage the past 2 years, except at Christmas when it was included in outdoor decoration.

Just one post today. This is the last of the Jeep News papers I bought last month. Hopefully, I can locate some more soon.
This May 1961 issue contains ALOT of Surrey and Dispatcher jeeps: Ice Cream delivery, Pepe ‘actors’, and fleet transportation are just some of the uses. The Kellogg contest fills an entire page with lots of pics. The Truth or Consequences Jeep Derby results are highlighted. Even the Utah Jeep Posse’s are mentioned.
The ‘Jeep’ Fleet line of ads look interesting (page 3) ; I don’t know much about those.

Has lots of mods.
“1944 Willys MB Jeep. Has 302 Ford V8 and NP435 with Dana 18 with Warn overdrive. Stock axles. Transmission and transfer case and overdrive all rebuilt by Herm the Overdrive Guy when swapped in 2 years ago. 33 inch tires and wheels new last summer less than 500 miles. For full price I can include an aluminum arctic military hardtop that is in great shape just needs restored. Has custom dual tanks and power hydro boost brakes and power steering and amazing heater/defroster system. Lots more I can’t remember. Needs transmission tunnel fabbed because new tranny was so much bigger I never got around to it. I’m only selling to buy a dump trailer otherwise I will keep it”
Could make for a good restoration candidate.

UPDATE: Danny’s selling this truck that he bought a few years ago. Contact Danny Tatum 512 803 0364 for more info.

“All basically stock Willy’s except the drivetrain. Chevy 350 engine/SM465 Granny gear 4speeder/NP203 Transfer case. Power steering. Clear Washington title. I never transferred it to my name when I bought the truck. The brakes need repair. I have a new master cylinder that needs to be installed. I am in the process of rebuilding the rear suspension. The truck has a stock Dana 53 rear axle. I was going to convert the truck to a 2WD street truck and have a Ford 9″er with 3:73 gears that I was going to install if you are interested in it I’ll sell it for what I have in it. It has new axle bearings, new brake cylinders, and new brake pads. The front drive shaft was missing when I bought the truck. I was going to convert the truck to a 2WD street truck so it didn’t matter to me. The seat has a new cover on it. LED taillights. Updated headlights. New speedometer and gauges. It’s a running project in the works. It does have a bit of rust that needs to be repaired. I’m asking $6500 OBO now.”
