About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
1966 Jeep CJ5A Tuxedo Park Project $8,000 Lakewood, CO
Unique Tux.
Information from seller:
1966 Tuxedo Park CJ5a needs engine work. Really clean interior and the top is nearly perfect. Body is beautiful. Most of the customization was done in the 70s. Im getting a kidney transplant and need to let her go. 8k. Is a pretty sweet deal.
CJ3A cool hard top and Koeing Winch set up, lots of paperwork.
Information from seller:
1949 Willys CJ3A As you can see from the pictures it is in great shape. There is some rust but definitely nothing major. It has a Kelly hard top, all the glass is good. Has an original heater in it. Everything is still 6 volt. I tried to keep it original but reliable. Has a 134 F head motor with a Carter YH carburetor with an electric fuel pump. Has a Koenig winch on the front that still works.I have installed Big Willys Jeep rock sliders and seats and foam. I have maintenance records and paperwork that date back to 4/12/1961 of stuff that has been done to it. I literally drive this almost every day to work or around town. I know I’m forgetting stuff. Asking $8,500.00
3B, fresh paint, but may need some work to flatten it out a bit, listed as has a bunch of new stuff, prices are what they are at times, still might make your short list if you have the time to investigate where the parts and pieces that are new and refreshed are. The Seafoam can is a nice touch for the overflow to go along with the color scheme.
Information from seller:
1953 Willys Cj3b · Suv · Driven 11,111 miles Nice condition, lots of new parts and work done, paint has a lot of orange peel but shows well(15’). There is a half cab for it, one door has a small crease
I kind of like this one for what it could have been back in the day, it looks to have a hydraulic pump or at least I think that’s what that small handle under the dash is for. Little worse for wear but it has a tough look and should have been quite the CJ back in its day. The original Gladiator for sure.
Classic Yankee turn signal, these have just a classic buzzer for the signal they are pretty neat pieces.
Information from seller:
1958 jeep truck. for sale . 4 cylinder, 3 speed , frame good , have ownership, jeep is complete. can deliver.
There are a bunch of Jeepster and Willys Parts on a few listings, so if you need something maybe reach out and see what’s up.
1949 Willys Jeepster Rear Axle CA$200 Welland, ON
Posted as a Dana 23 out of a Jeepster, 4.88’s (39/8) which typically match up to the 226 it looks to have had in it so might be some R/P parts here, used gear sets can be tricky to set up, but axles look to be there, some backplates. Most used axles I have picked up are in this price range or slightly lower so its not priced way out there either.
Information from seller:
Axle came out of a 1949 Willys Jeepster, both sides spin freely. Dana 23 I believe. 39/8 tag reads. Have not taken cover off. Pick Up ONLY
Willys 1949 Jeepster Original Radio CA$1,700 / USD$1200
Information from seller:
When I bought my Jeepster this came with it, I did not install, did test it and light came on and all dials work. 6v, Guy said it was rebuilt. Comes with the Jeepster correct dash cover. Thats all I can tell you. Pick up In Canada 40 mins from Niagara Falls NY boarder/ Fort Erie boarder. Will ship with exact purchase price and Ins. for customs. $1200.00 US or $1700.00 CAD
Willys/Jeep T-90 transmission case, no chip/cracks, all screw hole threads intact. Take your pick. These have the screw holes for the oil slinger. All so have internal used parts. US funds paypal AS IS I can ship might be a little heavy on shipping cost.
Willys wagon rear license plate assembly, basical all there needs attention. $80.00 plus shipping from Welland Ont. I added LED light on inside to my bracket, works better then original 1156. Also included is plexy glass for lens cover, to be modified.
I started this in 2023 and updated this over on OWF today.
Unfortunately does not format on Mobile too well for some parts. Not too bad on a normal computer. Opening the post by clicking on the title of the post help on Mobile. Will work on it when able.
It’s a look at the past few years of the Willys Wagon pricing on BAT.
Nothing is perfect and this is just something that I thought was fun to see the market and where it was at on BAT.
There are a few Easter Eggs in some of this that I found amusing and copied in here, but overall I had fun with this and was worth the price of admission.
I also have classified these for the most part as follows, I only added that Street Rod deal after 2023 stuff.
STOCK
Stock = Just that, stock drivetrain and fairly stock interior and paint
Street Rod = Mustang II front end stuff, custom frames, classic stance kind of rides.
CUSTOMIZED
Customized = There was a 230_OHC wagon that was not a RestoMod and not Stock, it was what it was for sure.
There was one anomaly that I left out of the Street Rod break out but left in the total bid and the sort, there was a high end unfinished project that was marked Sold at $70k (much more invested) but due to buyer issues did not sell, and was relisted and Sold a while later.

4WD V8 Swap Custom Interior, wow what a nice looking Wagon, very good looking.
Wow, what a head turner, this looks like a great restored CJ-2A. If you are in the market for a restored rig I don’t think you will be building one for anywhere close to this price. At the same time that won’t make it double in value, old rigs are tricky like that.
This won’t be the fastest of the bunch, but it’s super nice and I’ve have never minded being in the Bought not Built club, I get it from time to time having the ability to build something from scratch or restoring back to a 100pt anything, but at times its just not in the cards for where you are in world at that time, so buying a completed project and getting out and enjoying it and sharing its past owners stories if you happen to know them is just as fun as driving them.
Also don’t forget these need endless maintenance and up keep, unfortunately this being so nice in the photos will need to be taken care of to maintain it’s luster, which in of its self can be a lot of work.
So if you are able to have shiny things this might be something to look at!
Information from seller:
Meticulous rebuild of this 1946 post war and original Jeep. Runs Great and turns heads..
Another nice CJ up for grabs, this is listed as a ’47, looks super clean and nice. I could thoroughly enjoy cruising around in this one. No triple PTO or Monroe Lift but it’s clean looking for sure. I like this better then the yellow one, but either would look great cruising around the area and get lots of attention.
Around here I would toss on an OD and then maybe even some summer hubs up front if not going out in the wild too often. Not for MPH but just to really lower RPM on the flats and reduce some of the drivetrain from the L134.
Information from seller:
1947 Willys CJ2A Engine completely rebuilt. New tires. shocks, leaf springs. Runs excellent. Rust-free original tub an fenders. You won’t find a better original CJ2A. $14,500/offer. Serious inquiries only…will not respond to “is this still available” if you see this post. it’s available. Will respond to valid phone number.
’46 CJ2A, another earlier one I’m not one to call out the exact early stuff, but the earlier ‘46 stuff has cut outs around the front parking lights you can see the lights are not flush mounted, but there is a gap around them, and the lights are separate. I’m not even close to being able to get into the weeds on these, but I have been taking notice.
One thing I think would be neat at a show or event would be to line up one of each year as best possible using some of the known good examples, start at 46 and work your way up the line in order and that is helpful to seeing some of the smaller differences across the board.
For me it’s just trying to go through the photos and talking to people at events. Fastest way to spark up some discussion is to toss out a year and be confident in that year, only to be schooled very quickly by folks!! After 75 Years things get added and changed so I like to just enjoy them for what they are currently.
