About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“1948 one-quarter ton 4WD Willy’s Overland Motors, Inc., Toledo, Ohio U.S.A. Modified with a 1975 289cc Mustang V8 engine. Street legal and runs well. Will consider all serious offers. No trades.”
“Fresh out of the woods. I’m not positive of the year or even much about it. I have heard some of the parts on it are super rare. Just testing the waters to see if there is any interest. This has been sitting for 35 years. Super rusty, not much left but parts.”
“Have this 1946 Willys Jeep for sale. I have all the parts & pieces. Started to rebuild it but I have to many projects going on.
Jeep & Trailer combo $2,000”
“1947 Jeep CJ2A
Nicely restored. New 6-cyl Ford Engine, new springs and shocks, new bearings throughout. Warn Overdrive, heater, 15″ rims, 16″ radial tires. New paint and brand new full cab Best Top.”
“One of the coolest jeeps around for sure.
This was custom built for a man in Palm Springs California about 30 years ago. It runs great!
Small block Chevy motor with electric fan. 3 speed manual.
This is a trail built jeep. It has an overdrive/underdrive in addition to the transfer case. I believe they are commonly called doublers. You can can crawl the trails which is specifically what this was built for. This is not a highway speed vehicle.
Super fun town and trail toy!
Custom built all the way. One of the coolest roll bars I’ve seen. I love the extra wide center where the CB is mounted.
It does have a soft top and doors that come with it. Dual gas tanks. Like new tires.
There’s nothing wrong with it.
It’s just fun!
$16,500 or fair offer. We are not interested in trades.”
“I am selling a 1964 Jeep Cj6. It is a 4 cylinder practically untouched. I bought this but I find it hard to find time for it right now. It can be a great investment. I have cleaned the inside which I thought had rust is why I bought it at a reasonable price. I am just trying to get the money I have invested in it. It runs, new master cylinder, new fuel pump, clean title. To register in Cal is about $345. It is very simple to work on and parts are plenty since it is the same as a CJ5. Parts are very reasonable. Restored would almost double but cost less. Hate to see it go since last time I saw one in this condition about 3 yrs in Montana for $3500, they have surely gone up in 3 yrs. I may continue to work on it but price will reflect costs incurred.”
“Running, titled, CJ 2A. Reluctantly selling for different project. Comes with lots and lots of extra parts. Not breaking up…selling as a whole. Send your number in an email and I will contact you. $3500 OBO”
Seller believes this is a 1945 VEC CJ-2A, but it looks more like a GPW (tool lids) with a CJ grille to me. If the serial number is accurate, it may be a 1943 GPW.
