Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. The crew spent the day driving and walking beaches; yep, they were pretty much beach bums. Good for them! Bill’s uncle is hosting them on his property on Prince Edward Island.

This appears to be a DJ-3A with the slanted opening. I wonder how much weight that wood adds. The rear fuel inlet is not longer in the back, so I wonder how you fill it with fuel (maybe it’s just sitting in the rear?).
“1960 Custom Willy’s JEEP. Multiple award winner and one of a kind. You will never see another like it at any car show. Body panels covered in wood and done with great care by a master wood worker. Custom interior with lots of wood trim. New lay down windshield.
Original engine (4-cylinder willy’s), column shift transmission, 2 wheel drive, new brakes including master cylinder and wheel cylinders, good tires, dolphin gauges, runs and drives. Clear TX title, antique plates can be issued from the state.”

This is a highly modified rig the has some jeep parts (CJ-5 or 6 body?).

This is a 1958 modified Jeep body built by a professional roll cage shop.
The body was built to fit on a 1994 S10 truck 4×4.
4.3 Chevy V6… Fuel injected… 5 speed
It is not the prettiest but is very dependable… functionable… and rigged out nicely
Drives nice doesn’t pull or shake… steering is tight… brakes are good with nice tires… cruise even works
Tilt column is nice and tight.
