UPDATE: **SOLD**.
1959 CJ-3B and 2 Trailers Austin, TX **SOLD**
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $7500.
This includes a dolly trailer and Bantam TC3 trailer.
“1959 Jeep CJ3B, 1947 Bantam TC3 trailer and JEEP dolly to haul any flat fender JEEP. 3B has a rebuilt F134 Hurricane engine and runs pretty good. Transmission and transfer case were rebuilt at the same time and were all installed almost 4 years ago. Needs a carb rebuild since it has been sitting. Has a Warn Overdrive installed which gives a 30% reduction in engine speed and doubles the number of gears you have.
All of the work that I have done to it was completed a little over 3 years ago. Complete braking system, except hard lines, was done. BF Goodrich All-Terrains were installed. All seats redone. Duraliner bed liner rolled into the tub. Rattle can paint job in desert tan. Bluetooth stereo.
Jeep is overall in good shape. There are some rust holes and a few places underneath where someone welded on some random plate for repairs. 1947 Bantam is in pretty good shape. Has some rust spots in the tub. Tows great, tires are good and lights work.
Jeep Dolly is made specifically for hauling flat fender Jeeps. Balanced good and has a trailer brake.
Have titles for all. $7,500 cash gets everything and some miscellaneous parts that I have as well.”

“1948 Willy’s cj2a . Runs and drives. New battery, starter and wire harness. Super rare factory 16 wheels with Goodyear wrangler tires”
1957? CJ-6 Johnstown, CO **SOLD**
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $9750.
Has upgrades. The title lists it as a 1954, so the seller isn’t sure why that is.
“Solid jeep, lots of new parts, just added power steering, new wiring, new brake master, new hydraulic clutch, new swing pedals, new tail lights, corner guards, seats (bucket front, bench rear). New heater/defrost, radiator, alternator, power steering pump, clutch, headers (outside frame), exhaust. Just repaired rust in floor pan and structure, repaired tailgate rust, new instrument gauges, new dash cover (hand made/fit), repaired firewall.
This is set up for jeeping, geared really low for off-road, not for highways. I have additional roll bar from CJ7, I was going to use for parts to create front cage at windshield, just haven’t gotten to it.
Paint in poor condition, former owner used bed-liner and rolled on lime green paint, comes off with ease though.
Additional pics available. Will take only reasonable offers.
The wierd thing, this is titled as a 1954, but CJ6’s weren’t made until 1955. VIN starts with 57, so I think that is what it is supposed to be.”

Day 4 Aug 5th: Lobster Tales and Other Stories
<– Day 3 August 4th: Maine’ly Driving Late | Day 5 Aug 6th: Scooting Across to Nova Scotia –>

Jim, Kevin and Merlin parked for the night Monday night at the Rockwood campground in Saint John, NB.
Amazingly, the Canadians allowed the Newfoundland 2019 (or Rust) crew into Canada yesterday. Clearly they must be desperate for tourists! Well, that and the fact that New Brunswick is so far from the Yukon that they probably still haven’t received word about our 2017 visit to Canada. Whew!
The crew started the morning in Sanford, Maine, at a Walmart Parking lot.
My guess is that the crew hit Highway One along the Maine coast line, then followed it to Bar Harbor. Now, if you are new to this adventure, you may be wondering, why doesn’t the narrator know what’s happening? Well, that’s because the crew’s phones are being jammed and they are unable to communicate with the rest of the Western Hemisphere … it’s the only possible explanation. So, I’ll make a few literary leaps …
I HOPE they got themselves a Lobster Roll, as great ones can be found all along the coast (the best one we found in 2013 was actually in Massachusetts). Even some McDonalds sells lobster rolls during the summer! Just don’t fall for lobster rolls that brag about their Langostino lobster (It’s no more lobster than Almond milk is milk). Here’s a lobster they may have seen in Bar Harbor.

This sums up much of the Maine we saw in 2013: Lobster, Lobster Rolls, and Ice Cream. We saw more signs for those three items than anything else!
From Bar Harbor, they likely followed the picturesque Highway 1 north to the border with New Brunswick. Fortunately, Merlin has saved me from using stock photos at this point, as he shared a few pics along the route:
