Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. – Due to the light box, some images are seen as cut off

– These came from a box labelled: Sept 1947 – this does not guarantee accurate dating, though it is assumed to be somewhat accurate

“Been garage kept since 1984 but was still started periodically everything runs rebuilt engine by my gpa n uncle years ago rebuilt transfer case it got 3 gears i beilive than like 3 different 4 ×4 4high 4low than extra 4low front n back pozzy track all original parts has the hubs with the two levers that pull out and spin to lock and unlock your hubs i know its at least considered to be in #4fair condition or #3 wich is little better than fair i got an updated clean title and everything serious inquires only pm me mainly need the cash but might barter for trades n cash the more i start putting into it the more its going to be worth i wish i could keep it but i am in a bind financially”

Missing engine.
“For sale 1950s era jeep forward control, FC-150. Very rare. Missing motor but takes the same engine as the common Willys Jeep. Good transmission. Nothing is frozen. Great restoration project. Will trade for tractors, heavy equipment, ag implements.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2300.
(11/26/2019) It runs, but still needs some work.
“I got this classic old flat-fender Jeep 16 months ago as a non-running project.
I’ve done a ton of work to it and now it runs.
It is still a project, but for someone else to finish.
The bottom line is I have a clear title and it runs down the road pretty good.
The stock 3 speed tranny shifts fine and the transfer case works good 2wd, 4wd hi, and 4wd lo.
The stock 4 cyl engine has 110-125 psi compression on all cylinders and runs great.
The tub has its fair share of rust holes.
The fenders, hood, and tailgate are in pretty good shape.
Runs? May have a Beck hardtop.

“willys l134 engine for sale $400 obo. turns freely, has newer rear main seal. head looks good, gasket had no blowouts. cylinder walls unscratched. bored .060 over. previous owner said it was running when the clutch went kaput. comes with flywheel and clutch housing, distributor, and manifolds.”
It’s an industrial engine with a large saw attached to it.

“MUST SELL– 1946 Willy’s Engine SN:638632 W2, in front of serial number is 1-11 and after serial number is N1-CR. We are asking $400.00 obo
It is in running condition except it needs a little work. Needs some hoses and the radiator needs replace(new one sitting there for it) I am selling this for a friend (who has passed away) I don’t know much about it so it is best that you come look at it at the Antique Link store in Silver Springs. It is mounted to a trailer with a large Buss saw setup attached.
It can be towed as is. Trailer has an attached hitch.”
