Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Blaine shared this video of a restored FC-170 Rescue Van in Germany doing some four-wheeling. It’s all in German. My only wish is that I’d like to see more of the van’s insides.

The seller on Facebook is trying to figure out a value for these Victory Toys out of the Netherlands. Here’s a post published about these jeeps.
“I’m trying to come up with an approximate value of these two cast iron WWII toy Jeep’s. What I do know thus far is that they were manufactured by Victory Toys out of Holland. I see pictures of them online and more than a few times I see the word rare. If someone could assist me with a fair price for them I’d truly appreciate it. Thank you! UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $4000.
“This old Jeep is a consignment unit, so I do not have a personal feel for the unit. It seems to be in very good condition, overall. It has the flat head 4-cylinder engine, and the owner states that it has a new clutch. The Jeep runs and drives good. The snow blade goes up and down with the winch. Manual angle adjust. The owner set the price, and I think he is pretty firm on it. If a cool old CJ2A is something you can use, this one might fit the bill.”
UPDATE: This was listed in both Texas and Washington State. It’s not clear where the actual location is.

“1956 Willys pickup with a post hole auger on the back. PTO drivin off the transfer case to a PTO gear box on the rear of the pickup. Has a 250 inline 6 Ford and a Ford 3 speed adapted to a Dana 18 transfer case.

-radiator has small leak. Does not overheat
-no brakes
-it’s ugly
-no title/off road use only
Overall it works well but it’s ugly and nasty. Price will go up as I keep fixing/replacing parts.”
