This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1943 Willy’s Jeep ( Ford ) . 327 Chevy V8, T-90 transmission , Dana 18 transfer case 29 tooth, power steering.33 x 12.5 Goodyear Mud tires. I bought this a few years back not running as a tinker project. I have had a lot of fun getting it running and fixing it up. I have been using it as a grocery getter around town and enjoyed the heck out of it. Like any Willy’s of it’s age it is not perfect but I have replaced quite a few things so you should be able to turn the key and enjoy.
Parts I have replaced (New) – power steering box, tie rod ends, steering column, new drum brakes, calipers and master cylinder , radiator , electric fan, front seats with 4 point harness, electric fuel pump, MSD ignition , LED head and tail lights, carburetor (3 years old), jerry can, one new fuel tank with sending unit.exhaust pipe and muffle replaced back from headers. New wiper motors and wipers.

“This flat fender Jeep was born as a post-World War ll 1952 Willy’s M38 military Jeep. At some point in its life it received an all-aluminum Buick V8 (215 CID), fiberglass fenders and hood, Rancho freedom rider lift, 31×10.5×15 tires, Con-Ferr shackles, full cage, unique diamond plate type rear wrap, steps, and dash. It still has the stock transmission and transfer case with PTO. PTO winch is included. Stock axle assemblies, I do not know the gear ratios or if it has lockers/LSDs; however, it does have factory axle tags for LSD fluid required.
