About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“Cj2A tub. Left sided spare tire bracket, called a “left tub” I was told there was only around 10,000 made but either way it’s a half way decent tub that will get your project moving. Better suited for a driver or rock bouncer, or if you’ve got the time it’s restorable.”
“47 Willy’s, on 69 cj frame w Buick v6. 4 speed manual transmission 4 wheel drive. New tie rods . Does run but I haven’t started it in years. So it needs some minor tlc. Would make a great project for someone who does Jeep clubs. Willing to deal make me an offer. Getting ready to move needs to go. Stored in garage last 7 years.”

We haven’t check every feature but everything should work. Buying as is. I’m selling this for my parents so arrangements will need to be made for you to see it.”
“1955 Willys Pickup customized from Willys Jeep Station Wagon, 1978 Corvette 327, 1982 GMC S10 Chassis, & T5 Transmission
This unique vehicle combines the classic charm of a ‘55 Willys with the beauty of a woody wagon, and powered by a completely rebuilt 327 engine.
The concept and work has been done by a lifelong craftsman and classic car restorer/enthusiast. This project took careful planning and hundreds of meticulous hours, over a span of eight years.
This video covers Short Cut, a concept compact throwback jeep that lacks a top and doors shared by Bill. The video also describes this jeep as “cheap”, but I suspect the price-point on one of these would still be substantial. If this ever went to production, I expect buyers would be looking for top options at some point. Bill shared this video of a guy walking through and driving a Massimo mini-jeep. I’ve seen ads for these posted in various FB and Craigslist ads, but this is the first video I’ve seen. At $2500 through Tractor Supply, they aren’t a trivial purchase, but I have to say they do look kind of fun!
“I have a very nice, mostly original 1949 Willys Jeepster VJ2. It runs, stops, and drives very well. It has the original seat covers under protective covers, the original floor mats, again under protective floor mats, and the original interior panels, working heater, instrument cluster, and even the original radio that works. It has the original L134 engine with the 3 speed transmission and the overdrive. The top is after market, but it is custom to accommodate the very rare glass rear window. The beauty wheel trim rings and the hub caps are also original. It has new modern tires. All the chrome work is original and in amassing condition. It has a very small rust area on the passenger side floor behind the front seat. I think this one belongs in a museum or in a private collection that can do it justice.”
