About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“Work in progress must be sacrificed. Spare parts too many to list. Straight frame. Body rusted through in a few areas. Original Go-Devil Flathead 4 cylinder. One stuck cylinder. Converted to 12V. Close to running. Parts include new complete Walcks wiring harness and Petronix electronic distributor. Manufacturers ID tag in place. Lots of potential for either stock rebuild or modify to your hearts desire.”
“Nice Jeep, later Jeep V6 engine. Transmission and transfer case rebuilt. Roll cage, bench seat. Always kept inside. Used very little. Not rust. Good tires, brakes, clutch. I have owned it many years. Got a deposit but the guy backed out so I am relisting”
“1942 Ford GPW. Fords version on Willys flat fender Jeep. All original running gear. Runs good. New carb and brake cylinders. Light bar and winch. Title in my name. I will keep the collector plate.”
(11/17/2018) This painted, but never installed reproduction body has the M-38 indents with the MB/GPW dash. This should work well for someone. Interestingly, it does now have a gas inlet hole on the driver’s side.
“New steel Jeep body. This is a reproduction kit for a military M38 but could be used for any early Willys. The kit includes the new body, tailgate, hood, fenders and grill. The body has been painted but has never been mounted on a chassis. Everything is rust free so it would be a great way to restore your old Jeep without dealing with metal repair.”
