About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

“I’m thinking of selling my 1978 Jeep Viasa CJ6. Its a Spanish made CJ6 by visa with a SOFIM 74hp Diesel engine in it. I purchased it over in Italy and brought it back. Been slowly Jeep-a-sizing it but I’ve got 2 teenagers now and would like to see it go to a good Jeeper. No tire kickers please. If there is another version of this Viasa Jeep in the US I’d be surprised, pretty cool ride.”
“Im selling this beautiful Kia Red Metallic 1949 jeep Willys Overland wagon. It is a great running Willys with everything gone over, replaced, or adjusted this year (2018) with over $7000 in receipts! New speedometer cable, Oil pump and oil lines, Arm rests, door panels, All new fluids, etc. etc. Upgraded to a 12 volt system with under dash fuse box. All new glass and rubber seals, Window channel felt and weather seals. Triple gauge set installed. All paperwork, documents, receipts, and in work photographs will be included as a vehicle history record. A wonderful turnkey driving car.Three on the tree original shift. Original Hurricane flat 4 cylinder engine. The inside has not been redone as that is for the new owner’s thoughts to decide upon. Modified original window wagon. This Willys is not perfect, but for a 1949 vehicle, it is pretty darn nice.”
TJ shared this truck with a 1982 2.3 liter Peugot engine in it and featured on Barn Finds a couple days ago. It lacks four wheel drive due to non-matching RP ratios in the front and back.
“Let’s start with some bad.
No front drive line for four wheel drive because it has non matching gearing between front and rear axle.
Passenger floorboard has holes, big enough for a big toe to fit in.
Heater core has pinhole leak so it steams up the cab, currently bypassed.
Some good.
2.3l turbo diesel from 1982 peugeot 505s.

The rear of this has been stretched. It includes kennels for hunting dogs. This was for sale back in 2013, but there were not pics of it at the time. This is how the seller described it in that post: “1955 Willys quail jeep with stretch body. Dog boxes and high rise back set and front scouting seats mounted to front bumper. Not perfect or pretty, but runs strong and gets the job done.”
“Runs good changed out the condenser points and rotary button fuel tank needs to be cleaned and it will be ready to hunt again it’s a cj3b”
“Selling my 1949 CJ3a. Engine has been rebuilt and currently restoring it. Runs and drives good but needs body work. Has holes in driver and passenger floor. Drive train and and frame are in good condition. Selling because I don’t have time to work in it anymore. I have the title for it as well. $2500 or open to reasonable offers.”
“Up for sale is a non running 1957 cj5.
Have 2 motors with parts. It did run awhile ago my grandpa bought it for deer hunting. It was a military surplus jeep. It was sitting in a barn for 15 years and the motor got stuck. Tore that motor apart and it needs to be rebuildt. Bought another motor which welded a bearing so that motor needs work to. I have both of the heads as well as one clean good block which were all gone through by an engine rebuilder and are good to go. Also have a rebuilt starter and a new gasket set as well as new spark plugs. Both motors ran at one point I have all the parts that I took off. I also have a tow bar, and other various parts as well as the title.”
“1953 willys cj3b project. professionally rebuilt engine that cost $2500 to do alone. rolling chassis and body panels. no tub included. lots of other parts as well new and used!”
