About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

“If you are looking for a cool convertible, look no further! All Original from Michigen, with only 23,000 low miles on it after sitting in a warehouse for 27 years. The motor turns and starts, brakes need work, clutch needs work, gas tank need to be flushed and belts need replacing. It has 5 new tires, seats are in great condition, paint is original, “Burgandy” and it has a rusted area on the rear. All in all, its in really good shape. Clean title and price is firm. 55 miles out of Austin.”
“I’m selling my 1948 Willys pickup. It has not been restored in the pure sense (frame-off restoration). I just made everything work. For example, it has an electronic distributor, quick release hubs on the front axle, electric windshield wipers, converted from 6 volt to 12 volt, etc. It has the original Flat-head 4 cyl engine with single barrel carburetor, 3-speed manual transmission, hi/low transfer case, new radiator. Seats have been recovered in vinyl, spray-in bed liner. The tires are the original 6.00 x 16 bias ply.
I’ve been using it to go to the dump, go get coffee, go to the hardware store at my home near Prescott, etc. It is a conversation piece. Every time I go out somebody wants to talk about it. I have had no problems since I fixed it up. It always starts and runs. It gets me where I’m going and back. Somebody said to me that it was OLD, I said no it’s not! Then I reflected that it is 70 years old and since I’m 66 I didn’t consider it old, but I guess it is and I am! If interested, give me a call or text.”
“Stalled restoration project: Chassis completed, some body work required and reassembly. Have many of the new parts needed for completion. Call for details.”

“I’m selling a vintage Willy’s Jeep. The vehicle is obviously a project. The hood, grill and fenders were taken off to rebuild the motor. The body does have some rust but the metal is orginal and still strong. Everything is still together as far as I know but I’m sure you will have to order a part or two along the way. This would make a great family project or an investment restoration project. The vehicle has a 3 speed manual transmission.
I do have a clean title. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions or would like to setup a time to view the vehicle.”
