Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Has a new tub and a rebuilt engine.
“1946 Willy’s CJ2a
New steel tub, new steel fenders, new tailgate, new hood, entire frame is new, new electronic distributor, new starter, new alternator, new military rear lights, new gauges, new aluminum radiator and plastic gas tank still in the boxes, new plug wires and rubber covers, new made to order olive drab seat cushions, etc.
Previous owner said the motor was rebuilt. Everything is painted with POR15 (frame, underneath side of tub and fenders, motor)
Needs a windshield frame, grille, seat frames and wiring.”

We’ve seen this one before, but for some reason I can’t locate the original ad.
“Selling a 1946 Willys that starts, drives and stops. Has an original motor that does not smoke. Recently serviced plugs, oil and coolant. Has the 6v system so its a slow starter. Great base for a restoration. Come with aluminum top and doors.”
This doesn’t run and has some rust.

“1953 Willys CJ3B Jeep. Not currently running. Needs fuel tank (it was hooked up to a gas can for temporary use), may need a battery, and not certain what else it may need to get it running again. In overall good shape. Mostly original, including 6v system. I do not know much about it. I had bought it with the intentions of restoring it, but now I need to sell it. No title. Located in Schuyler, VA”

“Flat fender willys jeep. Still runs, Was going to be a good trail project for me but life happens and I need to sell the toys for a truck. It still has the running original L4 motor and transmission. I replaced the old flat seats with smitty built buckets, and have the full and half soft top and doors for it too. Added lights as you can see from pics above, good old fun jeep just have to sell”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $5599.
(10/24/2018) This might have a DJ-3A body on it (no drive side inlet, has large speedo hole in dash). The hood appears APU like, but it isn’t quite as angular as the APUs we’ve seen.
“Willys CJ3A 4X4 Jeep with a 4-134F Head Engine from an M38 A1 Willys Jeep. Engine Runs Strong with a New Carburator. T-90 Tranny needs some work. Alot of Restoration has been done. 4X4, Clutch, and Brakes work. A new Tub was installed years ago. Brand New Snow Tires. Electric Winch. No Title. $6500.00 OBO or Trade for a 4X4 600-750 ATV.”

“Partially restored Willys Jeep CJ2A. Motor rebuilt, new brakes, New brakes lines and hoses, new master cylinder, new gas tank, new windshield glass and rubber (has CJ3A windshield), new wiring harness. New steering wheel. New carb. fuel pump and regulator. I have both front seat frames. Some gauges have been replaced. Needs emergency brake mechanism and new paint. Some rust spots on floor and back fender. No text please.”

If you need a cheap fiberglass tub, this might work. This needs a little work, but my tub was WAY worse than this one.

Running when parked a few decades ago.
“Army Jeep—-1964, M-151 with title, have owned 45 years, was running when parked 20 years ago, all original, 24 Volt, except for 12 Volt heater added between seats, was never cut apart in middle, know what they are worth but first $2,500 gets it.”
