Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Steve spotted this tub. It looks to me to be a glovebox-less MB slat grille tub to which someone has added a funky cowl lid. Thoughts?

I have been told its an uncommon 1940’s Willy’s jeep tub. condition is rough but its fixable. the serial number is broken in the middle. it says: 1—40. no shipping/deliveries. no glove box, no front fenders, no back storage doors. probably needs new floor. if more pictures are needed let me know.”
