About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

If original, it looks in good shape. I haven’t seen enough of these to say for certain the seller’s claim is correct.

“Selling my 1946 willys Jeep cj2a. This Jeep is a great survivor, it has a wonderful patina with little to no rust. The motor is original and runs great. Recently replaced water pump, timing chain, and seals. Rebuilt emergency brake, new steering box fully restored, new shackles and bushings. All new brake lines, new fuel tank and lines, new seat frames and cushions, Cj roll bar and soft top. A lot of work has gone into this Jeep, hate to sell it but need the money.”
The serial number indicates this is a 1958 model. It runs.
“It is complete

Brakes work
Clutch works
Cosmetic. And a little rust repair.
I dropped and cleaned out tank. One of the lines drips when its running so needs fuel line replaced. Easy and cheap.

This top is similar to a Porter & Reed top, but has some different assembly strategies. It might be home made.
“1947 Willy’s CJ-2A project Jeep. Ran when I bought it a few years ago but had a bad head gasket leak. I have replaced the head gasket, intake and exhaust gaskets, cleaned the valves and replaced the valve gasket, plus I have new gaskets for everything else. New plugs, belts, welded a hole in the gas tank, new water pump, new thermostat and new oil filter. I have also installed a tow bar. Still needs new battery and the tires are worn. Recently moved and just have time or a good place to wrench on it plus my son lost interest in working on it with me so figured it’s time for a new home. It needs the carb re-installed, fluids, battery and should be ready to run. Has some electrical issues but the lights work. Great project keep for someone to finish.”
This hit something, creating some issues that need repair. This is a project. Most interesting is the rare half cab by Kelly. It also includes a trailer.
“Im listing my fathers 1949 Willys Cj 3A Jeep. It has front end damage. The impact caused the front bumper to be pushed in which caused the grill to be pushed in towards the engine. This caused the radar to make contact with the fan and it punctured the radiator. The impact also caused the body to shift forward approximately 2 inches bending the front fenders, dashboard and it caused the rear drive shaft pop out of the transfer case . The transfer case and drive shaft are not cracked.
-The engine was rebuilt locally approximately 7 years ago.
– All tires to include the spare are mounted on 16″ rims with military style tires that were all purchased new a 1.5 years ago.
– Metal hard top with metal doors
– All new leaf springs & shock purchased new in 2017
– The body has been patched in several areas
Also included is a 1/4 ton Vietnam error trailer
The jeep runs and now needs someone who can lift the body and line back up. Its all there it just now needs some time and muscle.
Clear PA title in hand and located in Trappe PA 19426
Local pick up only & email/text with any questions.
Sold as is and will not part out”
This could make a good project. It has the Sears half top with dualmatic hubs. I like the black piece around the back. That could be handy for carrying stuff in the rear. I expect that’s a custom piece. This is a column shift.
“1946 Willys CJ2A project, mostly complete with lots of extra parts. Has half hardtop and set of military style tires included. Fairly rare 3 on the tree shifter with twin sticks. Motor needs to be installed. Nice solid body to build a rig with. Bill of sale only. Will consider trades. Come take a look and make a offer.”
