About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“This car is part of the Allen H. Dieringer estate collection. We (the family) have sold a dozen or so vehicles in the past few couple of months and have a few more to liquidate. Please visit www.dieringercollection.com to register for email updates as new listings become available and/or add me as a favorite seller. Continue reading →
“1942 Ford GPW with a 2.0L pinto motor. Still has T90 and T18 combo with a D25 closed knuckle front and D44 in the rear. Needs to be finished, just needs valve cover gasket, valve cover, plugs, wires, fluids and it’ll start right up. I replaced the head gasket and just never finished. Also needs a little work on exhaust hangers but otherwise a great little Offroad vehicle. Soft top needs passenger side window. Has full soft doors. Sitting on 31’s.”
“I have a 1943 Willy’s jeep flat fender. This has a chevy conversion, I has a 327. The only reason I am selling this is I don’t have time to work on it. It does come with a tow bar and heavy duty winch on the front. When we picked this up it was a ranch jeep and had carpet in it. We took the seats and carpet out. I was going to redo the center console metal work. I have two sets of seats that will come with the jeep and I am also have the back seat that was in it. I can put this on my trailer and deliver if needed for a fee depending on distance.”
“1948 restoration project , has a 327 racing motor that is in it,has some parts that come with it , the motor alone is worth 500 all the barrings have been packed because it has been stored . Was shipped over from Korea belonged to my stepdads uncle from the war.”
Free-Lock Reproduction Hub Tool $35 on eBay:
“This auction is for 1 each exact reproduction of the very rare Free Lock Wrench that came with Denver brand Free Lock locking hubs as used on various 4 wheel drive vehicles of the late 50’s and 60’s. Denver Free Lock hubs were high end locking hubs that were available as aftermarket accessories to fit many 4X4 trucks including Dodge Power Wagons. I had these wrenches cast for me many years ago using one of the only original wrenches I have ever seen as a pattern. This is an exact copy of the original cast in zinc as the original. It is approx. 7″ long and has the nubs to turn and lock or unlock the hubs. You may never see another one of these and I won’t be making a second run.”
“I have for sale a 1950 Willy’s Jeep CJ-3A. It is a civilian model. It has the original L134 “Go Devil” 4 cylinder engine with manual 3 speed transmission. It has been restored and is in great condition.”
“Almost all original except for new steering, new drivers seat and all lights rewired. Runs great. Lots of extras. Cash only. Phone calls only, please.”
