About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“26,462 miles. Owned by one family for 60 years. Always reliable until parked. Tons of potential if you have the time. Will sell to first reasonable offer.”
“1940- Ford Pygmy during testing at Camp Holabird. The Ford Pygmy is the pilot vehicle submitted by Ford Motor Company in response to the U.S. Army’s requirement for a “light reconnaissance and command car” during the military buildup prior to World War II. It is the only known survivor of the original pilot vehicles built by Bantam, Willys, and Ford and tested by the Army. Photo measures approx. 6 3/4″ x 8 3/4″ ”
“1948 Willys CJ2A.
Jeep has several updates including rebuilt T-90 transmission, new clutch and new brake lines. Repro steering wheel, carb and electric fuel pump.
Motor runs good, has good compression and doesn’t smoke. Transmission shifts good and does not pop out of second gear like may of this era with worn tranny parts. The 9-inch shoe brakes stop, but could use some more adjusting or an upgrade.
The body overall is in great shape but hat channels could use some attention.
Comes with a semi-rare and working Ramsey front PTO winch.
When new, these Jeeps were marketed as somewhere between a truck and a tractor, so if you’re expecting a old Jeep that rides like a slightly used Wrangler, this isn’t for you. But if you’re looking for an excellent restoration candidate that’s very similar to what won World War II, consider this one.
Converted to 12 volt with alternator.
Pics without top are older. Pic of jeep rear does not show drawbar and hitch that is now mounted and included.
Needs some tweaking but it’s a running, driving, stopping project.
$4800 or will consider good offer. Not interested in trades at this time. I don’t need to sell, just have too many projects/toys.
Clear title.

“1967 Willy’s CJ-5 Jeep. Beautiful condition. Garage kept. About 30k miles. New undercoating, new brakes, bimimi top, full soft enclosure with doors and windows. No rust. 3 speed manual, 4 cylinder, 4WD. Clean title. It’s a blast to drive in town and on the beach”
(02/17/2018) Runs, but may be powered by something else given the hood bump.
“POSTING FOR A FRIEND. LOCATED IN CALVINThe original ATV. 4×4 3 Speed Trans. Hi/ Lo range .4 cylinder engine. Runs Great May consider partial trade for stock trailer, horses,or saddles.”
“This is a barn find. It’s from an estate and been covered up in storage for several decades. It’s a 1943 Willys MB in pretty much original condition. It starts good, runs good and drives good with no smoke but it does need brake work . Transmission and transfer case both shift good and don’t slip out of gear. Good frame, it does need a little floor work but the rest of the body is really solid. I had to clean the fuel system and replace the fuel pump and spark plugs. Other than that and seat belts it seems to be all original. The stock wiring is in pretty good shape, the headlights and taillight work, starter works. Good oil pressure. The manual wipers are good, the engine starting crank is still stored in it’s original position. It comes with five combat rims and Goodyear NDT military tread tires all in good usable condition with no air leaks. This has never been titled and comes with a bill of sale only.”
