“1941 Ford GP # 9223. The 1941 Ford GP, as well as the Bantam BRC and Willy’s MA were pre-WW2 limited production models, often labeled as “prototypes” which developed into the common WW2 GPW and MB. The production of the Ford GP, which is very unique to itself, was approximately 4500 units with most going overseas. It is estimated that only a few hundred of the GP’s exist today, most of which are in the hands of collectors. Of the total, it is estimated that less than 100 are restored, with the vast majority of the balance being as non-restorable and in dire condition.

“I currently do not have all the information for this truck or the other Jeep that my Father is selling. I will be getting more information on it as I get it from him, but he is currently out of town and doesn’t have the Miles on the truck.

The story is, my father and I purchased 7 CJ jeeps and restored them or are in the process of doing so. Once I restored mine, I moved on, but he kept restoring the others. He is looking to get the amount of money that he has in them. Not to make a business out of this and make a huge profit. They are taking up space in his garages and he has purchased more projects. So keep these on the road and have some fun.

The truck runs and was painted by a professional. Since he has so many of them, they were all restored with the correct parts from Jeep dealers, mainly Walck and Kieser.

No engine, transmission, t case and drivetrain are there, looks like the transmission has a belhousing adapter for maybe a ford v8. No paperwork, currently out of dmv system. Bought as a project years ago and it has sit in my garage as I don’t have the time to fix it up. Not willing to part out, must take all. All the parts I have are what’s shown.

These are not repop wheels, as evidenced by the pitting normal to WWII era combat rims & the presence of the tags.
