About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“For sale is a 1953 cj3b jeep dose run and move under its own power and clutch works had one stuck valve so not running on all cylinders has new hood and plugs and wires and batterie need new body tub the floors are gone but the frame is good asking 700 or obo has no title at this time was removed from an old property and it was going to the junk yard but I saved it and I don’t have time to work on it”
“1957 cj6 willys jeep
Very rare to the northeast, this is the longer wheelbase version of the cj6, similar to the cj8 scramblers.
12v system
I believe it is a Buick v6 that came in it from the factory with a 3 stick 3speed manual.
I had it running 2 years ago when I bought it, wouldn’t take much time to clean carb and put some new fuel in. Floor has been patched, bodys in ok shape. Frame has one spot that needs attention. Have the soft top frame and soft doors for it, no canvas. Has old mechanical plow pump and controls, think my blade off another jeep would fit for a little more money if interested. Kept under cover since I’ve owned it. Hate to see it go but I’ve got too many projects and no time. Good to restore or use at camp. No title but will give bill of sale
$2500 obo
Trades considered, try me. 4 wheelers, tools, tractors doa, engines, transmissions, guns, etc”
“This jeep starts right up, might need carb adjustment (idles rich), also needs brake lines bled, and tested.
Mostly original with exception of 12V electric system, this is an original US Army Willys Jeep.
Included in the sale price is the arctic / cold weather hard top and doors. I will consider selling these separately, but really hope the new buyer will restore as a cold weather / MASH M*A*S*H jeep.
Please email specific requests for more photos. Be prepared to prove you don’t live in Nigeria.
“This GPW Runs and drives but the up-keep was done by folks that fixed things with whatever was available. No doubt they were innovators but not mechanics. The motor needs a rebuild; the floor, although will work for some, needs some new sheet metal. The mechanicals need gone through. It is mostly original 1945 vintage parts.”
“Free Jeep soft top, not sure what it fits, but I know it doesn’t fit a flat fender Jeep. I got this when I bought my Jeep, the box says 42 MB/GPW but I don’t believe it’s for that either or it would have fit my CJ2A. The doors are flat so I suspect its for some variant of the CJ5. Come and get it. I’m moving and it goes in the trash in a couple of weeks.”
