This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1955 Jeep M170 Field Ambulance – the stretched version of the standard jeep. Wheelbase like a Scrambler. Runs and drives great. This is as clean as any M170 you will ever find – they are rare and you just don’t see any in this condition for anywhere near this price. About 25,000 miles. All parts are original. Fun to drive and a great show or parade vehicle. Have Texas title, is licensed for 5 years.”

“Featuring the branding of the service shop that operated in, the seller notes that it was parked indoors every night up until 10 years ago. The body and frame are said to be remarkably intact despite also being a plow truck, and the seller has removed the plow attachment and related components. It has been repainted at least once, but the original service station graphics were preserved when the repaint commenced.”

Has a running engine! New radiator, Thermostat, Water Pump, Ignition Switch, Ignition coil, Battery, Hoses & Filters and rebuilt Starter. It’s a project as it needs a brake system and seals. $4,200 into it this far.
Has been in my family for approximately 40 years. With no current registration and title, it comes with a Bill of Sale and DMV Transfer of Title Duplicate paperwork.
Hate to see it go but don’t have the time to get it operational in the near future.”
