About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

New Body Tub from Kaiser Willys, all brake system components replaced including lines, Transmission & Transfer gone through with new bearings & seals. Has back seats, seat belts & roll bar. Front fenders have small dents,, there is NO bondo anywhere on the body. all panels frame & leaf springs & rims were sandblasted to remove rust & repainted. Color is Julip Green. 12volt conversion done with high torque starter & GM 1 wire alternator kit from Kaiser Willys. Wiring harness is all new with added in fuse panel. Only things needed to make this complete would be to replace passenger side glass on windshield (due to crack), reinstall parking brake assembly (I have all the parts for this except the handle & cable), speedometer cable needs to be replaced & Fuel Gauge sending unit should be replaced. Tires & tubes were replaced about 3 years ago. Interior & Underside of Body Tub is coated in Herculiner.”
“This is a project truck. Motor turns freely by hand. Unknown deficiencies or prowess. Needs some assembly. Mostly complete, but lots of mysteries remain.
Hasn’t been started in at least 6 years.
Mostly complete. Many unknowns.
Rust through driver and passenger floors (has cut sheet metal panels to cover it). . Was last driven by a rancher in eastern Montana before he passed away. I have been doing stabilization work to slow the decay. When the rancher got sick the Jeep was parked and the tank rusted through and drained. I have purchased a new tank, but haven’t gotten the sending unit yet. Need new fuel lines and surely a carb clean.
“Jeep is in need of a restoration. Engine is not running. Vehicle has been stored inside for the last 60 years. Steel top with side and rear doors. Tow bar available but not attached to vehicle. Originally used as a tug to move a DC-3 into its hanger. Later used for forestry work.”
“A previous owner wished to pay a fitting tribute to his uncle, choosing to convert this 1948 Willys CJ-2A into a military-style vehicle for parades and displays. It served nobly in that role and has done so intermittently since the current owner purchased it in 2016. However, all good things must end. The owner no longer has the time required to devote to this classic which has seen little recent use. Therefore, he has listed the Willys exclusively with us as a Barn Finds Auction.”
“I have a Willy’s jeep FC170 with 6 cylinder hurricane engine 3sp manual high ,low range. Truck ran year ago. This is a project, that I have no time to complete. It has some rust but overall is a solid body. This is a rare rig.”
