This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “For sale is a 1948 jeep willys. Has a 1953 willys motor in it. Motor needs different mounts to fit properly. Old motor was seized. Has the grill and both fenders, they were removed for the motor swap. Jeep has been sitting in a garage since the clutch went out in 1984 (now fixed). Has only been recently moved outside a few weeks ago to make room for another project.”

“I am selling my 1949 CJ3A. The same owner since 1970’s. Always been kept under roof and very well maintained. Comes with bikini top, soft top, roll cage, soft full doors, and back seat that are not on the Jeep at the moment that will be included. Been a very good Jeep, just use it for taking off trash on weekends. Just got back from a Willy’s trip, 400 mile round trip with no issues whatsoever, ran perfect! All the bells and whistles work from original still work. Price is negotiable and NO TRADES! Title in my hand ready to sell.”

“This truck is in very good mechanical condition. It had a major rebuild by the previous owner and all the important mechanical components/systems were rebuilt, replaced, or confirmed to be in good working condition. Truck came from New Mexico so the frame and body steel are very solid with minor rust. It is 99% original or appropriate replacement parts. The body and paint is what you would expect for a truck that’s 64 years old, the usual scratches, minor rust, and dings. F head 134 Cubic inch engine, three speed, Hi Low range, 4WD. It’s a great truck to just drive for fun or a good candidate for the next level of restoration.”

New starter, new water pump, new thermostat, new battery, new gas tank, new suspension, new tires and wheels. Updated to 12 volt with alternator.
Great for farm or ranch. Unstoppable in rough terrain. Clean honest Jeep.”
