Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. 3A: looks a little like a cut down 3B hood, as it looks like there is the 3B horizontal bubble at the base of the hood where it meets the fender.

“1943 Willys with 20,000 miles on the odometer! Original flathead 4 cylinder engine runs perfect. It also has the coveted warn overdrive behind the original 3 speed trans and tranfercase. This is pretty much a turn key vehicle. I’d trust it to drive me anywhere. It comes with a tow bar to pull behind a truck or rv. I have doors and I have a set of original Willys wheels with military tires for it as well. We’ve been back and forth on selling it, and we’ve decided it’s time to let it go. I just had the carb rebuilt yesterday and have a receipt to prove it. I drove it nearly every day all summer, and it never failed me. I’ll consider an offer from serious buyers, but please don’t waste my time on a low ball offer. This jeep is the real deal, and I’ll keep it before I give it away for dirt cheap”

“1952 Marine Corps built Jeep Willys in good condition. I am currently unable to get it to start ( not very mechanically inclined.) however it did run for several months when I bought it, very fun and a great project vehicle.
