Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “This 1946 Willys Jeep has the original motor but will not start. The motor does turnover but will not fire-up. It does have some rust damage to the body (see pic.s).
I bought it years ago and all I have is a “bill of sale”, no title or registration.
It does have the PTO lever but that is all no shaft going to the front or back.
It has a new carburetor and fuel pump and at sometime converted to a 12 volt system.”
Vintage build. Not a ’41 (none produced), maybe a ’42.

Thanks to Ted for letting me borrow and scan this brochure. It will be the basis of the next poster, though I will be making some changes to it. I *think* this is a 1959ish brochure, as the truck/wagon windshields are still two piece, yet there is no DJ-3A Surrey.
