“’48 CJ-2A painted to look military. I bought in the early spring of 2017 with delusions of restoring it but realize I will never get around to it. It originated in SE Missouri as most likely an agricultural implement. The Good = runs and drives great. Original straight 4 cylinder L134 Go Devil engine and 3 speed transmission with overdrive. 4WD works great and she’d climb a tree if you were inclined. Rebuilt the master cylinder and replaced the light control switch. I have the windshield and the tow-bar for the front too. Garage kept. Clean and clear title. The Not so Good = hard to start and ether addicted…its destined for a new or rebuilt carb. Brakes still need to be bled (PS rear valve is busted). Tub is pretty rusty in the bed. Windshield has broken glass on the driver’s side. Overall: Old gal is a mechanically sound project vehicle with some appearance flaws. ”
Probably value here.

“1950 Willys Jeep. Please look at the pictures I have taken. I just purchased it and decided I don’t want to restore it.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $900.
This might have a slightly modified Porter & Reed hardtop, but I’m not certain of that.
“1948 Willy’s Jeep CJ2A. Have clear title. Disassembled but have all parts. Steel hard top. Frame and main parts stored in a storage container. Body is solid but ruff. Frame is good, axles, transfer, tranny engine are in good shape.”
Price looks good. It’s siting next to a CJ-2A chassis, so the top might be earlier than that.
