This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “2 ea rare, hard to find, 10”W x 15”dia. Vintage Slots in 5on5.5 Ford Jeep lug bolt pattern.
Both are used in tarnished condition with some scratches & imperfections. Not in new perfect condition.
(But, these will polish & clean up well. 2 pictures show example of cleaned & polished matching rims which are not available)
Will meet at the local police station to view.”

Jennifer recently finished a book about a CJ-5 called “Of Metal and Earth”. She wrote me a short note announcing her book. “I am the co-owner of a 1964 CJ-5 and author of a new book titled Of Metal and Earth. The story follows a 1964 Jeep CJ-5 as it passes through seven owners on their way to restoration and redemption.” I ordered, but have not read the book yet. Currently, the online book is free for Kindle readers.

“1965 Jeep Willy’s. 4×4
All original except the gas tank which is new a few years ago that I purchased from the Kaiser Willy’s catalogue. I inheirited it from uncle 8 years ago. It just sits in the barn. It never has had a flat tire on these heavy ol’ bias ply tires. It really needs a Willy’s enthusiast’ attention or a deer lease to call home. Will start and run but definitely needs a tune up. I used to fire it up and cruise up and down our road but I haven’t started it since last winter though because I’m too lazy. It does have a new interstate battery In it. Dust from sitting in the barn will be part of the package deal.
