These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

Thanks to Jim for sharing his old club’s design with us. I just love these old jeep club placard designs! The Hill-N-Gully Riders Jeep Club was founded in 1956 in Riverside, California. The club still exists today and has a presence on Facebook.
Steve shared this early photo of a BRC-60 at the Smithsonian.

1966 Jeep CJ-6. Rare factory “Long Distance” Jeep. It includes a Meyers steel hardtop and steel doors. This Jeep has left and right Factory ten gallon underseat fuel tanks giving it a total of 20 gallons capacity. It was originally ordered as an Arizona government vehicle likely used in the U.S. Forest Service. The Original Government order tag is included.

“Very original 1946 jeep cj2a
Runs and drives great. It sat for quite sometime.
It starts right up and drives very well. Has excellent oil pressure.
Just Did the following to the running part:
New clutch and t.o. bearing
New brakes
New tires
New carb
New distributor
New plugs
New head gasket.

Seller has some interesting parts, including T-96 gears (useful for DJ-3As, trucks, Jeepsters, or wagons), a set of M-677 data plates, Warn hubs, and other parts.
“Let me know what youre interested in. Email me with any questions. Some things are NOS and some are never used genuine parts and some are take offs. I have a Whole box of T-96 parts and a good set of warn manual hubs.”
“I have a Newgren lift and PTO setup for jeeps for sale. The lift has the cylinder and adjusters but no arms, controls or tank. As the pictures show, the adjuster bolts need to be straightened. The PTO is complete as far as I know, with an extra Dana 18H included. I will not ship this, but could deliver for mileage. I have a CJ3B that this was with, but it came off a CJ2A. Hasn’t been used since the late 60’s when it was bought.”

The dash on the passenger side has been modified. This is a former Fire Jeep.
“Selling my 1953 M38A1 Military jeep. Prior to me buying this it had been sitting for 5 years. It was used by a rural Fire dept before that. So the fire dept added the rear rack. Replaced the seats with buckets from god only knows where.
The good is this jeep has very little rust, fuel Tank has been steam cleaned and coated. New batteries & fuel pump have been installed (it is still a 24 volt system) starts runs shifts and drives. Brakes are sketchy and will need attention. Clearly the jeep has oversized tires and wheels. The wiring will need some attention. The always bent and broken front fenders are near perfect. This is a great stump jumper or restoration project. Priced right.”

“1948 48 Willys Overland Jeep Panel Delivery 2wd. These make great hot rat street rods! Has not run in years and will need work to get it there but it is so very cool with the patina and all…
The only rust is at the lower cowl to front fender area — otherwise very solid.
Barn doors in back are way nicer than the tail gate I think.”
