This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “Rare CJ6 Jeep Mostly repaired or rebuilt. New brakes, master cylinder, wheel cylinders, wiring harness, lights, switches, speedometer cluster, gauges, fresh air duct and drain hose, heater core and control cables, steering wheel, radiator with electric fans, radiator overflow tank, 9,500 # winch, tire and wheels, plus more. Rebuilt carburetor and new fuel pump. No engine work done, tuned up, runs good.”

“Serial # 9719, This is a very early production Ford script WWII jeep in excellent running condition. This is a complete frame-off restoration with period correct components that is parade or show ready (GPW judging standards referranced during restoration); excellent vehicle for the serious military vehicle collector.
Many original parts and only top quality reproduction parts were used (mostly from RFJP). It has a rebuilt period correct Ford engine (serial # GPW- 6050) and all engine components completely restored, new WeeBee Webbing top and canvas, Vintage Wiring of Main electrical harness, running original 6-volt system with highest quality authentic Willard battery, 5 combat rims and military tread NDT tires, all new brake lines, rebuilt Ford T-84 transmission.

Bill spotted this one. It has some mods. The windshield is an odd one.

“I bought this Willy’s Jeep in 2006 in the hopes of restoring it when I retire, but I have more on my plate than I can do now. This Jeep was running shortly before I bought it, it needs a new starter and that is supposed to be all. I didn’t try and get it running as I was going to do a frame up restoration. The motor frame and transmission are all original. I do have brand need restoration/shop manuals that I will go with the jeep. It is located in Alamogordo, New Mexico right now.”
Might be a good project. I’ve seen worse tubs saved.
