“This jeep has been in my family since the early 80’s, and has always been kept inside. It runs, drives, and stops. I do not have the vin plate. However I do have the registration in my name for the jeep.
It comes with a set of axles, radiator, gas tank, steering box and column, and many more misc parts.
I have posted plenty of pics, so if you want it, come look at it and make an offer in person.
I will not answer endless emails, nor do I want to hear a story about your jeep. Too many people commit, and then the day of or the day before email with an excuse not to come by. Serious buyers only please.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $300.
This should not last long. The Koenig half cab along is probably worth $300.
“53 CJ3B Jeep halfcab, switched to 12v charging. body is rough but runs good. has been used for plowing the last 12 years”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3950.
Looks like a good price.
“This jeep has been in covered storage since 2001, when I was called back to active duty for Afghanistan. Prior to that it was my daily driver to work. Starts right up, runs great. Just replaced the fuel pump, the only thing that did not survive storage. Good battery. The tires need to be replaced.
-Rough country shocks
-Heckethorn steering stabilizer
-12 volt conversion
-AM/FM CD player
-Bull Elk Antler shifter knob
-Original F-Head Willys motor, runs well
-Solex carb
-Tow bar integrated into the front bumper
-Bikini top and full soft top with doors. The soft top is very old and needs some minor work.
CJ-3B in excellent condition out of Wyoming. Some minor undercarriage rust, much less than normal for it’s age. The photos do not do it justice.
These classics have very little power, like all cars from the 1950s, but are great fun to drive and are always attention-getters. Really fun on trails. 4×4 works great. The speedo cable has been broken for most of it’s life so no clue on the mileage but I would guess it is less than 50,000. The engine was rebuilt 3 years before I purchased it in 1997. The jeep is tan in color.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1500.
Appears worth a look at that price.
