Tyler’s Vintage Jeep Desk
Tyler built this desk out of parts he gathered at last year’s Great Willys Picnic. Here are a few more pics.
“I just wanted to share my computer desk I made from some parts I picked up at last years great willys picnic. That I found out about thanks to one of your posts. I took up the project as a way to teach myself welding. I designed the desk to also work with my simulation steering wheel and pedals so I can drive jeeps in video games at my jeep desk. The last thing I set up was two stage led lights in the headlights for added style :).”
Former Truck Owner Looking For Truck
UPDATE: Jeff, the former owner, left a comment. “This is a factory prototype. Someone has a picture of it sitting next to the Alcoa car that Willys built that was a Jeepster “coupe”. I am the one who ran the ad above….the truck is the real thing and if someone has it, bring it to a Willys meet. I don’t expect to find it myself but whomever has it…they should know the history.”

“I want to buy this truck. I owned it before and would like to find it and get it back if it’s still around. The truck is a 1950 Willys and it has Chevrolet corner windows in the back of the cab. I doubt that there are two like this around so irf you know of one it would be the one.”

“For sale a very nice 1961 Jeep CJ3B that is a great driver. Everything is in working order and has had the engine and transmission recently detailed as you can see in the before and after photos. The body was removed from frame to get the engine and transmission out. The paint on the body is in very good condition. This Jeep is only a 2 seater and is a manual transmission. Please feel free to ask questions. Email is the best way to get a hold of me”

“Very clean Willy’s Jeep with rattle can olive drab paint job. Runs very good and everything works. Has a bimini top, gas can, rear seat, seat belts, and power steering! Previous owner installed power steering and upgraded the motor to a ’53. Diamond plating in the back seat area and a winch. Odometer says 6830, but surely that isn’t accurate. No low ball offers, and no I won’t trade for anything other than cash.”
