Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. (11/05/2016) Looks solid. It seems like the tranny & tc are back a ways. It’s missing a gauge.
“Own a classic! Professionally rebuilt and installed Buick V6 engine still being broken in. Replaced radiator, water pump, distributor, everything a new engine needs to run right. Transmission gone over and syncros replaced as needed. Has overdrive, new gas tank. new electric wiper, soft top and bikini top. 31′ tires ready for mud or rocks.”

“1943 GPW unfinished project. EVERYTHING is here to complete. Original RARE GPW engine rebuilt and on rolling chassis, original transmission and transfer gone through mounted on chassis. Original tub needing to be completed. F markings on hood, fenders, seats,frame, engine, transmission, transfer, and much more. The engine is a 1942, and frame/tub a 43. 5 original combat rims, 1 original goodyear tire and 4 new reproduction. Boxes and boxes of all parts needed to complete..including paint and ALL NEW CANVAS.”

(02/14/2016) It’s not much to look at, but it runs, has a snow plow, and has a dump bed.
“This truck needs a lot of repairs a nd some TLC. The clutch needs replacing. It has rust. It does run but needs tuning. The truck is equipped with a factory snow plow and a dump box. 6 cylinder Flat Head engine. Not sure of the year.”
No pics of the chassis. The tub/fenders/hood are $800 together.

Jason’s selling this hardtop. It’s missing the rear hatch.
“For sale is a Meyers hardtop off of a 1966 Jeep CJ5 along with hard doors. The window glass is all intact and the windows in the doors crank up and down. Top does not have back hatch/window. Very solid, only some surface rust.”

(04/25/2017) Has a rear PTO. Ran when parked.
“Vintage 1954 Willys Jeep with factory Rear PTO, it is pretty much original with 4 cyl motor and standard trans, the body is pretty straight just needs some paint. It was used on a old farm for mowing with the rear PTO.. It has been sitting in the old barn for awhile but was running when parked. It will need some Tlc to get her running and will need some new tires but a very cool old Jeep for Project.”
