About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“1945 Willys CJ-2A
One of the 1st 10,000 made in
Great Project Car.
Planned to restore it myself but no longer have the time.
Will trade for a 3/4 or 1 ton truck. I don’t have time for a project so truck must be running in its current state . Preferably a diesel. Preferably a Dodge. But will consider any 3/4 or 1 ton so let me see what you got.”
“Very rare 1961 mighty mite its the short one and that’s the hard one to find its a military jeep made mostly of aluminum very light has a AMC motor but I only have the block and corisponding parts trany drive train all good just bad motor”
“1951 Willys Wagon Custom for sale. Full restoration completed approximately 5 years ago. The wagon is powered by a 1984 Mustang GT drivetrain. Rebuilt 302 engine, T5 transmission and Cougar Independent Rear Suspension. Front suspension is custom using tubular a-arms, coilover shocks and rack and pinion steering.”
(05/07/2014) The body has obviously been modified.
“This vehicle is in decent running condition and decent condition for the body. It is a 4×4, good meaty tires. Has roll bar, 2 gas tanks, towbar, All working lights, new fuel pump recently put on. Had doors made for this jeep and they can be removed.
This is good for playing in the hills or summer time work vehicle. This is a classic or collectible vehicle. I am moving and I will not have a place for the Jeep. I do not leave it outside, therefore I would rather sell at this price then to have this jeep destroyed by the weather elemen THIS TRANSACTION WILL ONLY BE DONE IN PERSON. DUE TO HIGH FRAUDULENT ACTIVITY .“
“1947 Press Photo Johnnie Price baseball entertainer head down on Jeep. This is an original press photo. Johnnie Price. Photo measures 8 x 9.75 inches. Photo is dated 06-01-1947.”
“This is a very early production, perhaps the very first few civilian jeeps( CJ2A ) that rolled out after the war.
Originally column shift with all linkages in place needing only the shift stalk to take it back to original arrangement.
These very early productions after the war for civilian use were installed with the same body as the MB’s except for the modification of a tail gate, side filling neck gas tank, spare side mounted and windshield with WILLYS on it.
A rare find as this jeep was delivered in Arizona and has remained here since then with one family as stated by the family from whom I bought the vehicle. Last registered in 1970’s and then put away in storage.
“Flat Fender Willy’s Jeep with newer AMC 4 cylinder engine and power steering. 4″ lift, BFG tires, custom roll cage, custom seats, tilt steering, custom bumper and much more.Runs great, looks good, fun to drive classic.”
