About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
It’s rough, but does have the data plate to prove it was a “D” model. This may have some Allstate hubs.
“I have a 1955 military Jeep missing engine. It has minimal rust , mainly in the lip of tool box under passenger seat, solid floors and frame, only 50 of this model was produced. It’s rare and in surprisingly good condition, make me a good offer. Bill of Sale”
(02/28/2017) This has an APU hood, which was formerly for sale on its own, but now the jeep is for sale. The jeep itself doesn’t appear to be an APU jeep.
“Selling an early 50s CJ3a parts jeep. It is only good for parts. The springs, frame, and body are all junk. It has a F-head engine with a USAF APU hood. The engine is stuck. The transmission, t-case, and axles all look ok. It has a Fisher plow frame welded on the bumper and a plow pump on the engine. It has good 16″ wheels and lockout hubs. The Kelly hardtop could be saved, it is for a cj-2a I think. $500 firm, cash only in Colchester, VT. Bill of sale only. I can load it on your trailer.”
Here’s an instruction set for the Koenig Jibby Cab.
“original Non Color Folder , 8.5 x 11 Folded , 17 x 11 Unfolded , No Cars Shown , Installation Instructions For Jiffy Cabs , Models 520 Full And 525 Half For CJ-5 , And Models 620 Full And 525 Half For CJ-6”
“Jeep has a 302 ford engine, ford automatic C4 transmission. No rust, seats are in good condition, new gauges, nothing wrong with the jeep just don’t use it. 31×10.50 R15 Lt tires. Optima battery, has x3 super winch on the front.”
Looks nice. This has a CJ-5 body that has been extended to a CJ-6 length.
“Very nicely restored 1963 CJ6. Clear title in my name. Please call with any questions. No texts. If you get my voicemail, please repeat your call back number twice especially if you are calling from a cell phone.
Paul Barry shared these images of an early CJ-2A for sale from last week. The VIN and the body number are nearly 10,000#s apart (VIN is 38xxx, body 28xxx), which made me wonder if this was originally two different jeeps.
Has some mods. Gas filler is behind the left rear wheel.
“This is a 1947 Willys Jeep.
It comes with a cover to protect the beautiful 2 year old red paint job.
I am selling this for a friend whose husband passed away and was restoring it– (about 90-95% restored).
4 wheel drive, 4 speed (w/PTO), GM small block V8 – 283 engine (not the original engine but runs well).
Battery 2-3 yrs old
This is a great buy at $5,999.”
Could be worth a look. Has a wiring issue with headlights and lights.
“1965 willys jeep…needs some electrical work….brand new 12,000# winch with wireless remote….removable bimi top…snow plow included to clear your drive….cash only….do not contact me about selling this vehicle….thanks for looking .The wiring issues are headlights and blinkers…Vehicle runs and drives and stops just fine….this vehicle is 52 years old….the body has some bubbling and probably body filler in that area….not a problem for me…if your using it for hunting and tree limbs are brushing the side who cares.this vehicle travels 45mph on a dirt road just fine.will go faster but sways left to right at higher speed….I attribute this to the off road oversize tires and dirt road.this is a great little jeep for the hunter or person who could use it around a yard or farm….it is not a trailor only vehicle…if that’s what you are looking for….keep looking…!”
