About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
It runs. Looks like the front bow holder has been trimmed. Appears to have a Koenig hardtop.
“1947 Willys CJ2A Jeep. Runs, has hardtop (from CJ3A) minimal rust. Has warn locking hubs, 5 matching 16″ wheels. Don’t know much about it, bought with other jeep parts. Great project or parts NO TITLE.”
It’s best termed a mechanical restoration, as there are still some imperfections on the interior.
“1969 Jeepster Commando 4×4 with removable hardtop. Completely rebuilt 255 “Dauntless” V6 and extensive work on mechanicals to make like new. All work done less than 6k miles ago. Odometer reads 86,240k. Receipts and photo documentation will be provided. Three speed manual transmission shifts perfectly and allows for great cruising speeds around town or on freeway. Seats are comfortable and material is in great shape.
Rare vintage decals and black plates add to great original looks. Jeepster has been stored indoors and in Ojai for most of it’s life. I have spent over $7,000 on upgrades and mechanical restoration which include; new motor, new brakes and drums, new suspension, new tie rods, new exhaust, new radiator, carb rebuild, new vintage style off road tires, new gas tank, hoses, and sending unit, new tow hitch and wiring (never used).
“This Jeep has been restored with many new parts. Has the amc 232 straight 6 motor. Auto trans and 2 wheel drive. Runs and drives good. Price includes delivery to CA.”
This parts lot includes an engine with a DJ-3A gauze air cleaner. It’s bent up a bit, but I’d be interested in it should someone purchase this lot of stuff.
“1940 era CJ jeep parts. three engines, two running. transmission, cases, gears new and old, chassis with 4 new leaf springs and shocks, grill, axles, driveshafts, etc., parts and parts. Mostly original parts many in good condition and some not. I never threw much away. One never knows what “little tidbit” they would need but couldn’t find or cost too much to buy. No sheet metal/ body panels. Selling the lot of stuff as a package deal and buyer must take all. First $1000 takes it.”
“1957 Jeep Willys CJ-3B….rolling frame, good tires, engine is mounted and I have most of the engine and body parts to go with it….the tub has the original serial number plate (38251)…..this is a project!”
“I have a Rolling Chassis for CJ3B
Includes bare tub, frame, springs, diffs, steering
1 brand new RF spring, new shocks on all four corners.
No title available at all, for parts only.
Tub will need some minor repairs, frame is in good shape but battery tray is a little corroded.”
“1951 Willies Jeep motor is not good, but, has Buick v6, 3 speed manual trans with overdrive which was working when I parked it..This is a project Jeep and will need new interior and paint. Body is straight and not rusted.I have had this Jeep for 39 years but no longer have paper work on it.”
