About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
Seller lists this as both a 1941 and 1942. The serial number suggests it is a 1942.
“Rare “Slat Grill” early version Willys. Runs great. Serial No. 113037…13037th one made out of over 600,000 jeeps in WW II. Delivered January 19th, 1942. Older restoration that could be easily re-done if so desired. Equipped with SC-659 radio transmitter, .30 caliber replica machine gun, canvas top, tools, etc. Many extras including replica M-1 carbine, helmets, parts, manuals and more. Vehicle is licensed and titled. Appointments will be taken in order in which calls are received.”
Very original, relatively rare 4×2 Willys Panel Wagon in “All There” condition, owned by the same family since 1959. Original California vehicle, it was parked in 1963 in Hollywood, California, by the second owner. In 2009, to avert a sale to the junkyard, another family member moved it to a garage in Duarte, California, in 2009, with the goal of fully restoring it, but time and space are simply not resources available at this time. As such, it’s time to find it a new caretaker.
The body – All of the steel is clean and straight except for tiny square windows that were installed at the rear of the panels; the doors open and close easily; the glass is in very good condition showing only a tiny bit of delaminating occurring at the edges; the trim and brightwork is good, but in need of serious cleaning or replating; there are no major dents or dings to speak of, although the right side area under the door has sustained some light damage; the roof is very straight, like 99% of the rest of this vehicle.
Craig spotted this one. It has some rust, but given the completeness and condition of everything else, this is definitely worth a look.
“1951 Willys Jeep, runs and drives. Looks good, it needs a few things but at 65 years old we all need a few things. I’ve seen much worse go for much more, so $5k is reasonable for condition. Has canvas top (not shown). Tires are almost new.
$5k cash
Reason for selling, it’s my Dad’s and he can no longer drive, so I’m selling for him.
Clear title.
You must come in person, no checks of any kind. No BS. If you text that fine, I’m going to tell you in my reply to call me. I’d rather talk than text, it weeds out all the scamers.”
“hunting, off road, trail rides and driving around local town is what this was built for – pinto 2300 4 cylinder, 3 spd manual, lock out front hubs, locker front and limited rear, full cage, etc…..”
(12/09/2016) This has an extra data plate on the dash, but I can’t make it out.
“I’m selling our 1943 Willys jeep. This jeep has been sand blasted and is all metal, most of which is original. This vehicle is immaculate, it drives and runs incredibly and will not disappoint. If you’re interested please email me.”
Not sure how much value is here, but there is some parts value. Seller is also kicking in other parts.
‘Selling a 1960 Willys Jeep wagon. It’s a 4×4, 3 speed manual with the twin stick transfer case. It has the 6 cylinder “superhurricane” motor. It is in rough shape. The body has a fair amount of rust, particularly on the passenger floor board and the door bottoms. The engine doesn’t currently run but does spin freely, it ran a few years ago but I’m guessing the ignition points are wore out now. Included with it is a dana 44 rear axle and a dana 30 front axle from a Jeep Grand Cherokee with disc brakes along with the front drive shaft from the same vehicle. All of the brackets have been removed from them as I was planning on fitting them to the willys. It will need to be towed. Price is or best offer. I am not interested in trades.”
“Transfer case model T-18 for mb/ gpw jeep.$250.00 obo

Trailer canvas with rope kit for M-416 jeep trailer.$150.00 obo”
I can’t recall a top with a long narrow window across the back like that. Look like a halftone, yet it doesn’t have a section that fits within the cargo area.
“I believe this is a old metal Jeep top, glass window, surface rust but no holes, if interested call or text only no emails as I am unable to answer them Craigslist is an email. Thanks I was informed this could have came off a vintage Willy’s CJ 5 or a half cab for a CJ7”
“Refurbished classic CJ. Engine rebuilt, cylinders sleeved, and assembled with balanced parts at 10 over. Steering conversion and shackle reversal done by Stage West. Transmission & transfer case rebuilt by National Transmission. 11X2 brake conversion, 4″ Rancho lift, Jacobs electronic ignition, and Advance Adapters chain clutch control. Meyer hardtop and bikini for the summer. Recored radiator, restitched upholstery ( marine grade vinyl ) Durabak truck bed liner in cab, engine bay, and undercarriage. Vintage Warn 8270 winch, alternator conversion and Optima battery. And much more.
All this work was completed in 1999 with 43,000 on the odometer. It now has 51,413. I just don’t drive it enough to keep it. I haven’t driven it in months so the brake cylinders will need attention. Spare transmission and transfer case included at the asking price”
